Chapter II : May you keep a secret?

My housemaid looked at me with terror. “Lady Marigold.. was that-” she mumbled, her face still having the look of shock and terror. “Yes, it was what you saw. I'm sorry I felt extremely bad for her. She was bruised and hurt. She was about to get murdered by Wyatt!” I tried to explain to her. “No- What- why would you do that?” She looked up to me. “What they were doing was unacceptable!!” I told her what I really felt about what Wyatt did. “But Lady Marigold your family has a history of being powerful!! They always protected humanity from witchcraft and evil!” She yelled. “I know I know.. but murdering them for no absolute reason? How do we know that they have evil intentions?!” I yelled in return “She looked..scared, I didn't want to leave her to die like that.” I added to my statement. “Please.. keep this a secret..” I pleaded. Her gaze softened. “Okay, fine. I give up. I'll keep this secret of yours.” She blurted out. “Thank you, Laurence.. Thank you so much!!” I spun her around happily, as she chose to agree to keep what I did to herself. “I will never be able to repay you!” I gleefully said while hugging her. “That's fine Lady Marigold, as long as I get to take care of you and see that you're healthy, then you don't need to repay me.” She stated. “That so sweet of you Laurence!!” — “What is all of this noise?” My terrifying father went upstairs, we giggled in return and continued to clean the antique that Laurence dropped.

— Meanwhile with Astrella ~

“I don't like her, Ma. She just treated me that's all.” Astrella explained what had happened to her mother. “Come introduce her to me!!” Astrella's positive mother, Minerva said. “Soon, Ma. Soon.”
