Elisabeth made her way to Bucky and knocked on an apartment door.
It opened and a steel blue-eyed man locked eyes with crystal blue.
"Hey, Buck," Elisabeth said softly. "Do you remember me?"
A small smile crossed his face. "Hi, Libby."
"You do remember."
"I could never truly forget you. You're the sunshine to my endless nightmare."
"That's cheesy."
"Yeah, well..." He stepped aside and motioned for her to come in. "Does Steve know you're here?"
Elisabeth walked in and set her bag down. "He knows I went to find you, but he doesn't know where."
"Your deviousness knows no bounds."
Elisabeth smiled sweetly and placed a hand to Bucky's cheek. "I've missed you."
Bucky rested his forehead to hers. "And I you." He lifted her chin and the two shared a long gaze. The two moved closer together and they shared a tender kiss.
"I love you, Buck," Elisabeth whispered.
"I love you too, Libby," Bucky replied in the same soft tone.
