His Birthday

**NEXT DAY**

It's 8 AM. You woke up early, you shook Ebenezer to wake him up. "Ebenezer! Wake up!" he answered tiredly." huh?.. what..what time is it?.."

"Wake up wake up it's your birthday!! Go get ready and meet me downstairs!"

he checks his pocket watch. "It's 8 AM.. where are we going again?.."

"We're going to the bakery! You are taking the day off right?"

"oh, yeah, I already informed bob so he's taking the day off too- wait why are we going to the bakery?"

"stop with the questions and go change already!" You pushed him out of bed.

"AH! *sighs* fine.."

**TIMESKIP AGAIN** (I'm so sorry I'm lazy)

Y/n, Ebenezer, and Prudence walked into the bakery. "It's been a while since I've been to your bakery.."

"Well you have been working every day.." you lit up some candles.

Ebenezer paused. "so.. Can you tell me now what are we doing here..?"

You let out a smile and walked into the kitchen of bakery. Ebenezer tilted his head in confusion.

You walked off the kitchen walking backwards holding a cake tray with a closed lid.

"I know you probably don't want to do anything on your birthday but.." you turned around to face Ebenezer.

"I made a cake for you!" you said ecstatically. It was a chocolate flavoured cake, decorated with vanilla icing, and strawberries on top

"a.. cake?"

"yeah! for your birthday!"

"For me..?"

"For you!"

...

"do- do you not like it?.." you looked down, disappointed.

"huh? like what?"

"the cake?.."

"what? no! i-"

"no?"

"NO! I mean I do like it!.."

"It just caught me off-guard, It was really thoughtful of you.." he looked at the cake, surprised at what u did for him. He then looked at you and smiled.

"I love it y/n..thank you."He grabs your waist and kissed you. You kissed him back, a tear fell down your eye.

"Are..are you crying?"

what?! n-no I'm not!" You hastily wiped away your tears.

he softly laughed. "sure you aren't."

"When did you make this?"

"I had some free time yesterday." you put down the cake on the counter." here, have a taste."

you cut down the cake and put it on a small plate, you take a silver fork and scooped a portion of the cake.

you put the fork in front of Ebenezer's mouth. "open." his face flustered for a second.

"ah.. okay." he opened his mouth and you fed him the cake. You looked at him, waiting for his opinions.

It took him a while to give a reaction.

"mmh!.. wow.. this is good!" he says while still chewing on the cake. "Is this chocolate?"

"oh!..uhm y-yeah! it is! Do you like it?"

"I love it!"

"thank you! <3 help yourself if you want some more. :) "

"Don't mind if I do."

Ebenezer cuts down more cake slices and shares them with Prudence.

" *laughs* If you're done with eating you can help me pack up this cake." You started bringing out a wooden basket and a bunch of mini cake trays.

"Oh, we're bringing them home?"

"yeah!"

"Alright then."

After eating some cake slices and packing up the cakes, y/n and Ebenezer left the bakery.
