Lioness. Chapter 4: Aily's story

  Aily has been born in a rich family, a branch from the Lion king's family of
*Querton* so she always had people looking at her every move, and be sure she wouldn't hurt herself, or take a wrong step. From a young age, even  while her father was attending to meetings, or participating in an attack on a poor village, her mother would take care of her.
  Her mother would carry her everywhere, as she was a single daughter, her mother loved her very much, and she loved her mother.
  Aily's father, when he was home, he would always be with her, he would play fight with her, with some wooden swords, or he would take her with him to his training.

  When Aily was 9, her father got badly injured, having to be carried back to the city. Her father was a big lionmen, so to carry him there were necessary 3 animals, three bearmen.
  Once her father was back, from all his injuries, he was bedridden, and his wife, Aily's mother was devastated. She wanted to take care of him, of her husband, so Aily and her mother would end up spending the whole day inside.
  While Aily would play wih her toys, her mother would be cooking, feeding, washing or just spend time with her injured husband. Aily was afraid, as even at that young age, she knew her father wasn't well. He no longer play fought with her, he no longer would take her training.
  He was home for the whole day, for that Aily was happy, as she would spend a lot more time with her father, sitting next to him in bed, and having him tell her stories. But she was sad to see her father bedridden.

  At age 10, Aily experienced something traumatizing... While she was home with her father, listening to his stories, a knock was heard. Her father couldn't go, and her mother wasn't home, she went shopping, so Aily got off the bed, and she went to the door. When she opened it, she saw a lionwoman she knew. She was one of her father's assistants. Aily with a smile she looks up at the lionwoman and says:

  Aily:"Hello miss, I am sorry but my mother isn't home and my father cannot come talk to you. So would you mind coming a little later?"
  Lionwoman:"Hello Aily " Aily tilted her head as she didnt knew that this lionwoman knew her name "I am here to talk to your father, if I may come in"
  Aily:"Wait, let me go ask him first, wait here". Aily leaves from the door and rushed into her fathers room and tells him about the lionwoman. After a minute Aily was back, and she says:
"My dad says you can come in, follow me this way."

  The lionwoman says thanks, and closes the door as she started to follow Aily. Once in the room, she says:
  Lionwoman:"Aily, cutie, could you please go to your room for a minute, I have to tell my bos... umm your father something important"
  Aily:"I am old enough to listen" she pouts
  Aily's father:"Aily darling," he fake coughs" can you please bring me a cup of water?"

  As Aily heard that, she rushes out the room leaving the door open. The lionwoman closes the door, and starts speaking, as tears come to her eyes:
  Lionwoman:"Boss..." she wipes her tears "I'm sorry I have to inform you like this... but... your, wife..."
  As he heard that, Aily's father sat up, with his eyes open, and he says:
  Aily's father:"What... WHAT IS IT MIRABELLE? WHAT HAPPENED TO SOPHIA?"
  Mirabelle:"Antoine, Your wife... Sophia, has been found dead" She starts to cry. "The guards found her body behind the bakery... I am, so sorry for your loss"
 
  Antoine, Aily's father felt his heart sink, as he looked at Mirabelle, his assistant just say what she said. Tears started to form in his eyes.
  Antoine:"What... do you mean... ehat happened?"
  Mirabelle:"We do... not know, they just found her body, bleeding, ready dead."

  Aily:"What?!  Who died daddy?" she asks curiously as she enters the room holding s cup of water, walking carefully towards her father. Death wasn't that much of a problem to her, as she heard about that a lot.
  Antoine:"Aily... Come here darling" He says as he slowly starts crying and he opens up his arms to hug hsi daughter.

  Aily placed the glass on the nightstand and goes to hug her father
  Aily:"What happened dad... what did the lionwoman do?" She asks as her father is hugging her with a lot more force than before, as he was already crying a lot...
  Antoine:"Aily, darling... Your mother has died..."...

  A second of silence hit the room, and even without understanding what was going on, tears started to flow on Aily's face. She didn't want to believe it, but deep down, she knew that was the truth.

  From that moment on, Mirabelle started to take care of Aily, and as before, she would monitor her every move, as to not hurt herself.
  Aily had fun with Mirabelle, but she was sad as she could barely see her dad. He was broken, crying on a daily basis from losing his love. And in a short time, from the broken heart in his chest, and the pain he was feeling on a daily basis, he was expecting this, so he had Mirabelle promise she would take care of Aily.
  After a week, and a couple of days, he also died.
  That is how Aily ended up in the worst period of her life. She was young, and sad so, as to forget what was going on, Mirabelle had her start training.
 
  As years went by, Aily started to see Mirabelle as her secondary mother. And after years filled with careful training, with only picking up a real sword after two years from when she started, Aily was getting really good with the sword, and Mirabelle couldn't be happier. Mirabelle knew the pain Aily sometimes felt when she remembered her parents, but she was always there for Aily.

  When Aily hit 18 years, she finally convinced Mirabelle to have her join an army group. So she did, and only after a few months of teamwork training, the did their first attack.
  It was on a small village from *Chrinken* but, the attack was expected. When Aily's team arrived, they were quickly ambushed, and they had no chance against that amount of lizardman.

  At their victory, the *chrinkens* wanted to capture them all, and at that thought, Aily's capitan started to beg them to at leat let Aily go. So they promised him that, only to have her captured aswell.

  They realized her importance as she had gold lining in some places on her armour, and so they took her in one of their best cells.
  This is where she met Paru.
