Normal POV

While in the car an awkward silence.

"Do you mind taking a stop at the café?" Frances asked kindly.

"I don't mind." Caleb was developing an intention to confess again.

"Thanks." She smiles at him. Caleb almost got lost in her eyes.

Silence again.

Okay, I can't hold my feelings anymore! Caleb told himself.

He drops her off the café, told her that I'll be back in 5 minutes.

He went to find a boutique of roses and not forgetting about the chocolate.

"To my beautiful Frances, I don't want to scare you but I hope and wish that you can accept my confession. I really like you. Here are your favourite boutique and chocolate." Caleb wrote this on a card and placed it on the boutique.

When he came back, he saw her sitting there not alone but with a guy.

"Who is he?"

"Why are they laughing?"

His jealous built up.

Caleb's POV

I placed the flower and chocolate on her seat.

As I then went to the café.

Walking towards her.

"Hey, Frances sorry for leaving you off like that." I apologized.

"Caleb. No worries, I'm fine...just, been waiting for my cup of Camel Frappuccino and this strawberry swirl cake."

"Oh, right forgot to introduce, this is my ex-boyfriend, Chris Lyle. We just met after a really long time."
She turns to face me after him.
Wait! His her ex? I thought she had never dated anyone before.

"And Chris, this is Caleb, a friend in my class, who was going to drop me home after this."

"Oh, nice to meet you, Caleb."

I ignored his handshake and just smiled.

"Take a seat, Caleb." Frances offered.

Chris is sitting opposite her,
So I decided to sit next to her.

Hehe, finally.

After all the conversation and Frances got her drink and dessert then she decided to have it to take away because it's getting late.

So as we said bye to Chris, we walked out of the café, to my car.

"Woah! What are these?" She looks so surprised and looks at me. Frances saw the stuff on her side of the seat. She avoids touching it.

"Who are these for?" She asked me awkwardly.

"Just read the card," I told her confidently but I'm still nervous.

She took the card and read it.

One of her hand covered her mouth. "Omg!"

She hugged me when she looked at me. I love the feeling of her being so close to me.

"Thanks, Caleb, and yes." She is literally happy about the fact that I confessed.

"Thank you for accepting me. I really like you, Frances. Will you be my girlfriend?" I think it's the best time to tell this.

She moved closer to kiss my cheek.

I turned to match her lips but she went for my cheek.

Ouch! I didn't get that on the lips. Ugh. But at least, I got one on my cheek from her.
