Arkansas gave the others a nervous smile, holding a slightly feral cream colored bunny in his arms.
".....no. Absolutely not." Michigan instantly crossed his arms, tapping his foot. Illinois frowned, and looked at the bunny.
"Is it okay? It looks mad-"
"She's fine. Her name's Chloe, and Author Blue needed some of us to bunnysit, so I signed us up-"
"Seriously!?" Michigan groaned, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "I forgot how much of an idiot you are sometimes." This comment earned a protest from Arkansas, which was quickly cut short when Illinois got between them.
"Alright, alright. We get it. You two don't like each other. But for all of our sanities, can we call a truce? Just for now?" Illinois glanced between the two. Arkansas grumbled, but gave a reluctant nod. Michigan nodded as well, and Illinois moved. "Now that that's settled, what do we do with her?"
"I guess watch her for a few hours? That doesn't seem so hard." Michigan suggested, reaching for Chloe. He gently took her, and smiled slightly as the bunny nestled in his arms. "you aren't so bad, are you! " He hummed. However, he quickly regretted those words as he felt a sharp pain shoot up his hand. Arkansas couldn't help but laugh as Michigan froze.
"...OW-" Michigan dropped the bunny, Arkansas quickly diving to catch her as Illinois ran to get a bandaid. Arkansas caught Chloe, and moved away from Michigan.
"You scared her!" Arkansas complained, gently cradling the bunny as Michigan cursed under his breath.
" I'll show you scared her -"
"Michigan no."
" Michigan YES." Michigan yelled as Illinois quickly wrapped his arms around Michigan, the bandaid in his pocket as he held Michigan back. Arkansas quickly backed up, holding the bunny away from Michigan's reach.
"michiGAN LEAVE HER ALONE!!"
" LET ME HAVE HER-" Michigan yelled as he struggled against Illinois' grip.
"No! I told Blue we would take care of her!" Arkansas protested as he wrapped his wings around himself and the bunny. Arkansas gently bounced the bunny, humming softly. "Shh, it's okay, the mean ol' Michigan can't hurt you nOW-"
Arkansas yelped as the bunny bit him, causing him to drop her and unfurl his wings. Michigan laughed triumphantly.
"HAH! Now you know how it feels!" He screamed in delight, laughing at the other. Arkansas growled, glaring daggers at Michigan.
"You little-" Arkansas launched himself at Michigan, causing Illinois to let go of the other and back up as they both fell to the ground. Illinois rolled his eyes as the two fought, quickly looking around.
"Uh, guys?.....BOYS." Illinois snapped sharply. Arkansas and Michigan quickly separated when Illinois yelled, looking ashamed. Arkansas' hair was in tangled knots, and Michigan's feathers were ruffled. "Now, what do we say?"
" ....sorry. " Arkansas grumbled, crossing his arms.
"I'm not apologizing. He started it." Michigan huffed, earning a sharp glare from Illinois. "Fineee, I'm sorry."
"Good, now, the bunny is gone." Illinois stated. Arkansas yelped and jumped up, running off to find her. Illinois shook his head and pulled Michigan up, running after Arkansas. Boy, was this going to be a long day...

Several hours and alot of chaos later, Author Blue came to pick up Chloe.
"Pleasetakeherimtired" Michigan grumbled, handing them the bunny. Illinois and Arkansas were both passed out, back to back. Author Blue accepted their bunny, thanked them, and quickly left so they wouldn't be sued. Michigan sighed, and trudged over to the couch, where his companions were.
"Hmph. Both asleep....might as well join them.." He mumbled, joining the small pile, and quickly falling asleep. ~
