Pandora

Chapter Two

I stood in the paddock and waited while Darcy took the grooming kit back and brought all my tack out, she lightly tacked me up careful to pinch or hurt me and then she mounted nicely and we went out of the paddock at a walk and down the middle trail to start looking for Nancy and Darla.

Darla
The pain was too much to bare i kept going on slower than normal, Nancy kept kicking me and telling me to go faster I couldn't take it, it was hurting too much but I couldn't go more forward. I pushed myself for her, I just wanted to buck her off but it wasn't in my nature to do so and I was too sore to buck. I kept going we were just walking now and then i couldn't take it anymore I fell to the ground in pain. Nancy squealed and called me a stupid mule among other things. I just laid there in pain

Darcy
I patted Pandora along the trail and asked her to pick up a trot. It was a beautiful trot that she did. "good girl" I spoke to her in a calm am gentle voice. I called out Nancy's name, hoping she would answer but she wouldn't. I kept calling her name out anyway, I got a bit if a shock when she answered back.

When Nancy answered Darcy back I shot off in the direction that we had heard her. When we arrived we got the shock of our life's. Darcy dismounted and spoke to Nancy, I trotted to Darla who was shaking and on the ground. How could Nancy of pushed her like this, I over heard Nancy and Darcy talking they were arguing about Nancy taking Darla out the way she was. Nancy got angry and kicked Darcy in the leg then Stormed off, Nancy then sort of limped over to me and Darla. Softly stretching her hand out to pat her . She talked smoothly and calmly " hey Darla, it's okay girl. I'm not going to hurt you" she said and patted Darla softly " good girl" she said and tired to me. The expression on her face told me she was thinking the same as me
