5 years Later
it's been a couple of years since I had Elizabeth and Colson is on his brand-new album called Tickets to my Downfall.
Life has been great Elizabeth's birthday is Today and she's turning 5 I can't believe she's growing up.
I woke up from bed and went into the bathroom to brush my hair and teeth once I got out I walked out of Elizabeth's room to wake her up.
I knocked on her door and heard a small voice saying " come in ". I walked into her room and sat on her bed and lightly kissed her cheek.
" Hi Mommy ". She says
" Hey, baby are you ready for your birthday party ". I asked,
" yes, but where's daddy ". She replied
" Daddy is with your uncles at the store getting stuff for your party ". I replied
I heard the front door open and I knew colson was back Elizabeth rushed down the stairs to see her dad.
" DADDY ". She Shouted
She rushed into his arms colson picked her up and kisses her on the cheek he finally put her down and she gave her uncles a hug.
" Hi Uncle Slim and Rook ". She said
" Hey princess, Happy birthday ". Rook replied
2 hours later
Everything for the party was set up the theme was rock n roll inspired by colson of course
everyone walked into the backyard under a neon sign saying " Elizabeth's Rockin 5th Birthday ".
Colson's friend Avril Lavinge walked into the backyard of our house and came over to us and greeted us.
" Hey, guys ". Avril said
" Hey, Auntie Avril ". Elizabeth says
" Happy Birthday Superstar ". Avril says bending down to hug Elizabeth
It was an hour into the party and it was time for the performances and cake
Avril got onto the stage and performed her song Skater boi which was Elizabeth's favorite song from her then Colson performed his song called bloody valentine.
We brought out this 3 tier cake which was pink and black to match the party's theme we sang happy birthday and sliced the cake.
it was getting late and she had one last present from colson which was a hot pink guitar like his but hers was miniature .
she was so happy she started to tear up.
never in a million years, I thought I would have a child but I'm the happiest I've ever been.
