DILARA'S POV:
I place a pillow over my head trying to block out the sound of my alarm clock, but then remember I didn't set an alarm.Smoke.
I smell smoke, which means only one thing.
Fire.
I practically jump from the couch and run out of the room, bumping straight into Adriano.
The hallway is filled with smoke.
'What happened?' I ask.
'Get outside with everyone else now!' He replies, grabbing my arm and shoving a gun in my hands.
I do as he says and go outside. Jasmine, Matteo, Zoya and Terzo stand there with scared expressions on their faces.
'Where's Mimi!' I yell.
'Alessandro went back to get her!' Adriano replies.
I run back into the house and feel Adriano's fingers graze my arm as he tries to hold me back.
'Dilara stop!' He yells.
Ignoring him, I run through the smokey corridor but stop when I hear someone crying.
My eyes start watering and I feel as if I can't breathe. The thick smoke tries to get into my lungs and I body tries to grasp onto any oxygen left.
'Rory.' I gasp.
I run through a bunch of corridors panicking as I hear her cries getting louder and more desperate.
'Mimi!' I yell, but get no reply.
Where is she, where is Alessandro?
I run towards her room and shove at the door. It's locked, I look down at the doorknob and see no lock.
It's locked from the inside.
'Shit!' I exclaim.
I cock the gun and shoot at the door. I push it open and run in.
Flames engulf the entire room and Rory is in her bed crying. I cover my mouth with my arm and walk towards her.
'Mamma!' She cries, her face red, wiping her nose on her sleeve.
I grab Rory and she clings onto me, putting her face in my neck as she cries.
'It's all right baby,' I mumble.
I need to get her out of here and find Mimi. She wraps her arms around my neck and I can feel her crying against me.
'Dilara!' Adriano yells, running up to me. 'Are you crazy!'
'Mimi's my sister!' I reply. 'I couldn't just leave her.'
'Alessandro has her, she's safe.' He says.
He puts his arms around us both and escorts us out.
When I finally reach the fresh air, Mimi runs towards me and pulls me into a hug.
Her hair is messy and she has a bruises on her arms.
'Oh my god Dilara I love you so much.' She cries.
'You're safe,' I say. 'We all are.'
She takes Rory off me and starts soothing her. I turn and see Alessandro next to me, a scared expression on his face.
I open my mouth to say something but he pulls me into a hug.
'Thank you,' he mutters. I rub his back and he lets go of me. 'I might've been wrong about you.'
