"Hello? Yeoreum?"
"Hi Momma."
"Oh my sweet girl— your brother told me what he saw online, what happened? Are you okay? Who- who did this to you?"
Yeoreum pursed her lips. Of course her brother had to go and tell their mom. Taking a deep breath, she put the phone closer to her ear as she fiddled with the blanket on her lap.
"I'm fine Ma, my friends and I got it resolved. And I don't know who did it, but it doesn't matter at this point."
"Are you sure you're doing okay? Do you need to come home for a while?"
"I'll be okay Momma, seriously. I—"
"You got it resolved? Who did it doesn't matter anymore? Sweetheart, why are you just accepting that answer from her?"
Yeoreum's lip curled in distaste at the new voice coming through her phone speaker. This was exactly why she didn't want her mom to know. Cause then he would know. Why couldn't her brother just have told their dad instead?

Yeoreum rolled her eyes at this statement. He had been her 'parent' for only 4 years. He had no right to call himself that. But knowing her step-father was going to nag if she didn't answer, Yeoreum relented.
"I told you, it's been dealt with. The images are being taken down off twitter, and we hired a service that removes them off external sites and searches. It's over with."
"It's impossible to remove images from the internet. Do you understand how this is going to tarnish your future background checks and reputation in the future?"
There was a slight static sound that came from the speaker. When her stepdad spoke again, his voice was muffled, like he had moved away from the phone.
"I'm telling you Joo-ae, we should have never tolerated her doing that streaming business, or being on social media. Look at the mess she's gotten herself into."
