This Poem is made by lines from a book I have read. These lines are just in the whole story and are in no way written as a poem in the book. This poem has the feeling of loneliness when you read it, but it can also give you a sense of why you love someone. At least it gives that impression to me. When reading the poem, you don't have to think of the person that I am thinking of, you could think of someone in your life that you feel would fit this poem.

~Why I Love You~

Thank you, Mother

I'll always remember what you did for me.

Even if I never see you again,

Even if I'll be by myself.

For this last adventure,

I'll remember how strong and brave

you were even through the darkest times.

That is why I love you.~

I hope you like the poem. I was thinking of naming it 'Remember' but I thought the title should give you the feel or secondary feel about the poem. I always felt that way and that is why I chose the name for this poem to be what it is.

I chose my mother to be the person that I am thanking because I have always had problems with her. I and my mother get into fights, yell at each other, but also just plain ignore each other. I'm not proud of my relationship with my mother but I have been trying to fix it. Slowly but surely I am trying. As soon as I am old enough to move out, I am getting out of my house as quickly as I possibly can. Sure, it may hurt the people that actually care about me in my household, but I just cannot stand living in a house that has someone who does not care about me. I know my mother feels the same way when she is thinking of me because she has said a lot that she thinks that I do not care about her, but the truth is that I do care about her. I just can't stand living with her.

I know it is a lot to read and I'm sorry, but I am a person that has a lot to say and I babble a lot. You do not have to read all of this, but I would love it if people would comment on what you think of my poems and the things that I say. It would really mean a lot. Have a nice day/night!!!
