I'm A Gilbert

Chapter 8

Damon, Stefan, Elena, and I were in the Salvatore's living room.

"What does this mean?!" Elena panicked.

"It means that Casey is, once again, a human." Damon answered looking straight at me. Elena and Stefan felt the tension between us and left the room.

Damon came VERY close to me face. There was about 1 1/2 inches between are faces.

"You're my girlfriend, right?" He asked me. "Yes!" I replied almost instantly.

About 6 months pasted my. I was now a vampire, dating Damon. Elena was a vampire. Stefan and her were together.

Bonnie had just brought almost everybody back from the other side. Except for one person. Damon. Then Bonnie disappeared.

"Where's Damon? Where is he!? Where is he!!!!" I started screaming because I knew exactly what happened. Damon was gone, and so was Bonnie.

Stefan and Elena tried o calm me down, but all I did was cry. For days I cried my eyes out. Finally Elena got tired of the crying so she got Alaric so take away my memories. I didn't know who Damon was.

"Casey, who is Damon Salvatore?" Alaric asked me nervously.

"Who? Who is 'Damon Salvatore'? Wait! Is he related to Stefan? I bet he is! I can't wait to meet him! Hopefully Stefan will introduce me! Is he hot, maybe. Oh well! I guess I won't know, until I meet him!" I say with joy in my voice.

Alaric seemed like everything worked out. Elena was amazed that it worked.

"Hey, Stefan?"

"Yeah?"

"When can I meet you brother, 'Damon? I think that's his name?" I asked half way to him and half way to myself.

"Um, he is not here. I don't know when he will be back, or if he will ever get back." He said with sadness in his voice.

About a month past, Caroline was dating Klaus. Which was very strange! Elena and Stefan were STILL together! Me, I was just watching my friends and family be happy with other people. I didn't have a boyfriend.

If I was to marry anybody right now, it would b-

I was brought out of my thinking when my phone started to ring. I looked at the caller ID. It said Damon?

(Damon- D) (Casey- C)

C- "Hello? Who is this?"
D- "Casey-"
C- "Wait! You know my name!" I started raising my voice. Everybody tried to listen to my convo with this guy.
D- "Yes Casey, I know your name! It's Damon! Don't you remember? Your boyfriend?"
Elena realized that it was him and started panicking. So did Stefan and Caroline.

C- " Sorry, but I think you have the wrong person. I don't have a boyfriend! The last boyfriend I had was a guy named Tyler Lockwood. And that was 5 years ago. I'm sorry I'm not your girlfriend, she's somewhere out there. Just not here."

With that I hung up. I walked into the room and there was Elena, Stefan, Caroline, Klaus, and Alaric.

I smiled and said I was going for a walk.

I was on the Wickery Bridge, and saw a man crying. I felt so bad. The man wasn't very cute, but he seamed nice.

"Hello?" I asked him as he turned to me. "My name is Casey Gilbert. And you are?" I asked while I had my hand out for him to shake.

He took it and replied," Hi, my name is Damon. Damon Salvatore." I was so shocked.

"Oh! Hi! Your Stefan's brother, right?" I asked unsure if I had it right.

"Yes. Yes I am." He replied. I didn't think he looked all that well. He had cuts and then he wasn't very hot or cute.

"Sorry, but I have to go. I have to go meet a friend. I'll tell your brother you back." I said as I jogged off. I didn't want to use my v/s until I knew he wouldn't see me.

- at the grill

I had to meet Tyler there, so he would get off my back. "Hey! There you are! I have been waiting for you!" He said with excitement in his voice. I wasn't very excited to see him, like at all!

"Hey, Casey. Can I ask you a question?"
"Yeah, sure."
"Will you be my girlfriend?"

Tyler knew I didn't like saying no! I had to improvise! And quick too!

I saw Matt and ran to him. I whispered in his ear," Can you pretend to be my boyfriend so Tyler will leave me alone?" He nodded and I hugged him tight.

Tyler looked a little confused. "What's going on?" He tilted his head sideways while asking us the question. "Matts my boyfriend." I said while matt put his arm around my shoulders.

Tyler look hurt, but I didn't care. I just wanted him to leave me alone. "Prove it! Kiss!" He demanded.

I looked up and Matt as he looked at me, I nodded. He leaned in and so did I. We kissed for about 1 1/2. Then we broke apart because of Tyler's awkward coughing.

"Ok then, I'm going to go" he said as he walked way.

"So.... wanna go out, Casey?" Matt asked me.
