The moment Minho opened the car door for Lisa to step out and guide her through the Bae's entrance and mansion she already felt something gonna be off

Irene as expected has uncountable maids and servants around the place. And they were greeting her as if Lisa is some kind of part of the family, in a overly kind and really cheerful for someone you just met

Lisa sigh

What could possibly Irene done again this time?

Before she know it, Lisa is already seated inside a huge dining room. Irene by her side, as according to her they are waiting for Irene's parent to come in the room

Lisa eyebrows furrowed slightly at the revelation

I mean, it was just about getting a job

Lisa thought she is offered to work under Irene directly anyway, so there's no need of formality

The two huge door to the dining room opened and two middle aged couple walks in with a warm smile of greeting with linked hands

Irene immediately stand up to hug both of her parent

Lisa smiled at the sight

Irene actually can be respectful of personal space and be loving

Lisa eyes widened a bit at the internal thought

This situation must be affecting myself so bad to think of that. Lisa mused inside her mind

Four of them quickly fall into conversation

For some reason Lisa doesn't understand, the elderly couple keep glancing between both of them then letting out a soft smile

After getting to know the condition to work under Irene, her parent suggest an unreal amount of salary and as expected Lisa became worried and kinda suspicious of what's going on

An hour passed by, Lisa finally had the chance to get out of the conversation. 

Irene and her parent were curious as why to she seem to be in hurry

Lisa being an honest person, she felt kinda sorry to shorten the conversation but told them that she got another job interview to attend

Irene was pouty hearing this, and keep grasping Lisa's arm flushed to her breast

Lisa became shocked as they are literally in front of her parent, and they are subtly holding back a smirk from coming out seeing both of them

After much persuading to let her go and refusing Minho offer to drive her to the job interview location, Lisa finally got out of the mansion with a tired sigh

Lisa now stood in front of a tall tower in a famously known Seoul Business District

She had heard Jennie family own an enterprise and has an office here but when she step down from the taxi Lisa let out a gasp

This is ain't just an office but a whole tower! Lisa mused inside her mind

Lisa smiled, eventhough Jennie is from rich family, she always remain humble and a kind, loving person

The job description Jennie mentioned also matched my passion aside from doctor study. Lisa think while walking down inside the lobby heading to the receiptionist

She greeted the receiptionist, telling her name and purpose of coming here only to met with a bored stare

Lisa had to hold her eyebrows from raising, because the receiptionist looked at her up and down a few times before letting out a sigh

"Look, I can't let you meet Ms. Jennie if you're dressed like that. You don't even have appointment with her" The front desk spoke out with a bored face, arms crossing

Lisa looked down at her own clothes

It was a white blouse and a black formal trouser with an all black shoes. Nothing inappropriate with that. 

Sure the white blouse may doesn't seem to be very new but with Lisa condition at the moment this is the best she could do right now

Lisa sigh and said

"I'll call Jennie to let her kno-" As Lisa about to whip out her phone from her pocket a hand immediately stopped her

Lisa turned and met a kind looking middle aged woman with a warm smile looking at Lisa

"Mrs. Kim" Lisa greeted and was about to bow when suddenly Jennie mom pulled her in for a hug

Lisa that is never used to physical affection immediately stiffened and looked around

The receptionist gasped and bow down to greet Jennie mom

Mrs. Kim let go from the hug and linked her arms with Lisa in a friendly manner

"I see you're having trouble to meet Jennie dear" Jennie's mom commented, her voice louder on purpose while looking straight to the receptionist ahead of them

Lisa watched the interaction in amusement and watched as the front office staff face paled while the other receptionist trying her best to hold back her laugh

"Ah Nayeon, is this the new one?" Mrs. Kim greeted one of them

Nayeon bowed down in respect before saying

"Yes, ma'am. This is Woonyoung" Nayeon gestured to the person next to her and stood back from the bow to look at Mrs. Kim and Lisa

Mrs. Kim subtly rolled her eyes when Wonyoung was looking down embarrassed, earning a shocked reaction from Lisa. Mrs. Kim dragged Lisa inside the VIP lift before saying

"Please train that one, oh wait you did already. Just hire a respecful staff would be nice" Mrs. Kim sassed before the elevator door closed

Lisa watched the interaction in awe, now she understand where Jennie got her savageness from

Sorry for late update. I wrote another 5 chapters of this story when my old phone decided to be an ass and got broken out of nowhere. I got a new one but I forgot what I wrote so I'm starting from scratch again 😭

And I was lucky to got a Blackpink concert ticket that will be coming here on March. Let me tell you omfg the war for that ticket was so crazily competitive and intense. 1 second that thumb going lazy, my life would be incomplete without seeing Blackpink in real life🤝

Though, I got sad news as well.

Red Velvet was coming to perform a few months ago, and it was in partnership with some company, it was really cheap. CAN YOU IMAGINE SEEING RED VELVET FOR 6.61 USD and I DIDN'T GET THE TICKET CAUSE THE WEBSITE WASN'T READY, KEPT CRASHING & HAVING PROBLEMS THAT THE WHOLE NATION STARTED CURSING THE COMPANY CAUSE THEY AIN'T READY FOR RV TICKET WAR. 😭
