The Descent Into Chaos

All five boys met in the dorm. Kai was the first to speak up. "Anyone else had talks about the dark mage ? I heard he had a lover. Taehyun hyung could possibly not be the son of the dark mage." It was easy to tell that Kai was excited about this news. Whereas the others were a bit quiet.

Soobin spoke next as the tension in the room seemed to rise. "좋은 소식이 있어요! 친어머니가 이 선생님께 연락을 했어요. 저는 멀린 숲에서 온 마법사의 아들입니다." (I have splendid news ! My biological mother reached out to Ms. Lee. I am a sorceress' son from the Merlin Forest.) This diffused some tension as everyone began to congratulate Soobin. Beomgyu hugged Soobin boasting about his friend soon becoming a sorcerer by birthright.

"What did you learn, Beomgyu ah ?" Yeonjun inquired this seeing that Taehyun has yet to speak. "I uh... I hadn't learned anything, hyung. I told my mother of our bond. That you are my brother. To drop the half part. We're brothers."

"What about you ?", Soobin questioned Yeonjun. Yeonjun smirked as he realized revealing what he knew would start something even he wasn't sure anyone would agree with. "Me ? I learned that if the dark mage had a son... That son would be a King. More dangerous than the dark mage himself."

The tone in Yeonjun' voice sent shivers down everyone, but Taehyun' spine. Yeonjun continued almost full on grinning. "What did you learn, Taehyun ? What did your family tell you ?" Taehyun fidgeted slightly, but Yeonjun caught it.

"Brother, grab whatever Taehyun is hiding in his hand," Yeonjun requested of Beomgyu. Poor little Beomgyu. He hesitated. So Yeonjun made him do it. Beomgyu apologized profusely as he grabbed the very paper that Taehyun wished to burn.

The other read the news the paper delivered as Yeonjun held his wand to Taehyun' throat in a second. Eyes darkened with the vow he made for himself. He won't rise a King...

Taehyun went down in pain as Yeonjun had done defensive spell after defensive spell despite the others screaming for him to stop. He only stopped when Taehyun was barely breathing. Completely exhausted. The other three crying at the brutality Yeonjun gave Taehyun. "그 사람 때문에 그만 울어요. 강태현 씨는 아무것도 아니에요. 그는 암흑마법사의 아들입니다. 그는 왕이 아니다. 제가 할 말이 있다면요..." (Stop crying over him. Kang Taehyun is nothing. He is the son of a dark mage. He is no King. Not if I have anything to say about it...)

This was the descent into complete chaos...
