oh my dear African parents
you are indeed a precious jewel
with every day life fill so hectic
hustling to be provisious
thy skin a representative of thy identity
A survival among survivors
oh my dear African parents
yes I am a teen
said to be flimsy
lacking solidity and significance
tender and sentimental, with rivers of emotions floating within
not strong enough to defeat immorality
yet forget not thy morals inbuilt in me
oh dear African parents
when will thy trust thy teen
why all the hullabaloo
with the most archaic believe
yes
I am a teen irresponsible at times
As stubborn and obstreperous like a goat
but just like a pufferfish exhibiting boisterous and caring nature
but with thy moral bestowed I will over come.
