PART 8: DREAM

Taehyung woke up in pain, disoriented and on the ground in an unfamiliar place. He looked around, his emotions a tangled mix of fear, anxiety, and confusion. It felt as though he was in constant danger, isolated and alone.

As Taehyung tried to get his bearings, five wolves suddenly appeared, their menacing presence leaving him cornered. Panic surged through him, but surprisingly, instead of retreating, a surge of aggression took over. Taehyung felt a surge of courage he couldn't explain, his body becoming more aggressive as the wolves approached.

A growl emanated from deep within him, a sound he didn't recognize. The aggression was overwhelming, and just as the wolves drew closer, Taehyung's strength waned. He collapsed to the ground, unable to bear the intense pain surging through him.

Taehyung jolted awake in his clinic bed, his breathing rapid and his hair a mess. He scanned his surroundings, realizing he was back in the clinic but unsure how long he had been unconscious.

"Another dream," Taehyung whispered to himself, the dream's vividness lingering in his mind. His recurring, strange dreams were becoming increasingly frequent and perplexing.

A medic entered, checking on Taehyung and offering him medication he didn't recognize. After the medic left, Taehyung was left alone, his thoughts racing with worry about his condition and his surroundings.

Jungkook visited Taehyung's ward and noticed Taehyung's distant demeanor. Despite Jungkook's attempts to engage him in conversation, Taehyung only responded with silence or averted glances. Frustrated but respectful, Jungkook eventually gave up, believing he was intruding.

On his way out, Jungkook encountered Jimin, who was also heading to check on Taehyung. Jungkook advised him against it, fearing Jimin might inadvertently disturb Taehyung. Jimin understood and left with Jungkook.

Days passed, and Taehyung's condition seemed to deteriorate further, drawing concern from everyone around him. Nights were particularly difficult as he writhed in pain and struggled with inexplicable internal torment.

The situation grew dire when Jungkook visited Taehyung one night and found him in severe pain. Without hesitation, Jungkook rushed to his side.

"It hurts! It hurts so much!" Taehyung cried out, writhing on the bed.

"Hang in there! I'm calling for a medic," Jungkook said urgently, but the search for help proved fruitless as no medics were available. Desperate, Jungkook returned to Taehyung's side, wrapping him in a comforting embrace.

Unexpectedly, Taehyung's pain eased slightly at the comfort of the hug. He found solace in Jungkook's presence and tightened his grip, seeking the warmth and reassurance.

Jungkook, initially surprised, felt a sense of calm and relief from the embrace. He gently patted Taehyung's back, their closeness providing comfort to both.

After about thirty minutes, Taehyung's pain subsided, and he felt significantly better. When he became aware of the intimate hug, he blushed and quickly pulled away, turning his face.

Jungkook found Taehyung's reaction endearing. "You're welcome. I'm glad I could help," Jungkook said with a warm smile that made Taehyung's heart flutter.

"But seriously, Taehyung, why are you in so much pain? You can tell me what's going on," Jungkook asked, concern evident in his voice.

Taehyung hesitated, unsure whether to divulge the full truth about his dreams. However, feeling he had nothing to lose, he decided to share his experiences with Jungkook, hoping it might help him understand the meaning behind his troubling dreams.

"I'll give you some time to process this. I'm here when you're ready to talk," Jungkook assured him.

Taehyung nodded, contemplating whether to open up completely. Ultimately, he chose to reveal everything about his dreams and the pain he was experiencing. Jungkook listened intently, determined to help unravel the mystery behind Taehyung's visions and find a way to address his suffering.
