Counselor Am looked at me funny then open her mouth trying to say something but the world just weren't coming out. Counselor Si just stared at me and then gave a little giggle "Wow the people in here are sick"
I replied with a giggle of my own "Hehe I know right"
Counselor Am looked at me with a weird expression... almost like her eyes were screaming death but her mouth was smiling.
"So you're telling me you got abandoned at birth, bullied and sleepless since age four and those same bullies shanked you just like that..."
"Yup" I said my smile fading
"And surprisingly enough you're still here and you still have faith in humanity??"
"Never said that Doc.... I don't have any faith in anyone... infact I hate all humans equally and I'm not trying to stay here... SURE I don't wanna die but I wanna be a scout so I can get out of here for good" I said looking at her with a dead serious expression
"You are fully aware that no female has ever became a scout right?" Si said looking at me like I really am crazy
"Yup... I just need to surpass all the males in my grade and twist the council's arm ever so slightly... both of witch are surprisingly easy enough . I mean I've broken every rule and they still haven't threw me out just yet"
"Well miss Embers we are really glad that you have such confidence but are you sure going outside is something you wanna do? Are you ready to make that sacrifice?" Am asked also looking at me like I lost it.
"Yeah Yeah how bad can it be. Anywho our second hour is over. I'll be taking my cat and going. See ya" I said picking up Jupiter's leach and walking towards the door with my cat. I paused but decided against saying anything and just continued walking towards the dormitories.
I went over to my room and let Jupiter in taking him off his leash and letting him relax. I then went outside my room and closed the door behind her behind . The dormitories were quiet but since it was lunch I decided to go look for Sawyer since he told me he'd see me at lunch.
After all he is the only one who actually talks to me even tho he is forced.
