YN's POV

I tried so hard to not break down but
At the end i couldn't control myself and
Burst out crying..it wasn't like I was weak or something but today when jungkook Humiliated me and shouted at me in front of everyone I felt hurt.

I know it's my mistake but humiliating
Me in front of everyone wasn't the right thing to do .....I was dumb to have some kind of expectation from him.

I don't know why but even right now I'm somewhere hoping for him to come and console me to comfort me.

I left for my apartment right away from there in a cab ...it was my first day and it went horrible...Idk How will I even survive here...Negative thoughts clouded my mind.

Author's POV

At Y/N's and lisa's apartment :

Yn has been crying ever since she entered the apartment....Lisa is sick worried and trying to talk to her but yn isn't ready to.

LISA: yn stop crying plss..tell me what happened?? Someone said something to you????

Y/N: n-no d-dont worry-y it's-s nothin serious...I-I'm just feeling exhausted a-after a r-rough day

LISA: I didn't knew you got this good at lying that you even started hiding things from me!?

Y/N: No lisa it's nothing like that i swear i will tell you everything when i will feel better
I just need some time alone.

LISA: OK but call me whenever you feel like talking (hugs her)

Magical time skip to next day✨

Yn got ready for office and left after having breakfast
After talking to lisa She has been feeling a bit better than yesterday

JUNGKOOK'S POV

Yesterday i searched for yn after the meeting incident but found out that she already left.
Whole night I couldn't sleep becoz yn's was all over my mind .I did wrong and i was feeling really guilty.
I've always been like this rude, cold and I never really cared if any of my words hurted my employee...I'm the boss and I pay them to do their work...we don't share any others relation but with yn it was different.
If it was some other employee it wouldn't have affected me but yesterday after seeing tears in her eyes and that too because of me I couldn't help but hate myself for shouting at her
I was lost in my thoughts suddenly someone knocked the door

JUNGKOOK: come in

Y/N: Good morning sir, here is your coffee

JUNGKOOK: t-thanks Ms.YN

Her voice ,.....it felt different,
the spark in her
Eyes was missing and she looked dull
I badly wanted to apologize to her
But my ego wasn't letting me
Words weren't escaping my throat

Y/N: what Mr.jeon

JUNGKOOK: n-nothing take these files from my table and complete them today itself

Y/N: ok Mr.jeon I will take my leave then( bows and leaves)

Shitt!! I again acted like a jerk ...but why am i so affected if she isn't happy
She is just my employee nothing more and
I can't let these stupid feelings distract me
From my work
Aahhhaghahha!!! My mind's messed up!!
Suddenly his phone ringed

Tae: hi kook

Jungkook: what happened

Tae: nothing!! can't i just call my frnd for no reason

Jungkook: no I've got a company to run ,im not free for useless talks

Tae: bro you're a millionaire ...one day off from office wont make you broke

Jungkook: firstly I'm not a millionaire....imma BILLIONAIRE

Tae: but there are millions in billions

Few days went like this and Jungkook got impatient to hear her voice..they did talked but only professionally and Jungkook didn't liked it at all

After a week (still jk pov)
9PM

I left some important documents in my cabin so i came back to take them before going back home
After taking papers i noticed someone was still working in the office
I checked and it was Yn

What was she doin here after working hours

JUNGKOOK: Y/N, what are you doin here??

Y/N : oh Mr.jeon, i was completing the files you gave me earlier

JUNGKOOK: you could've completed them tmrw...how will you go home???

Y/N: Mr.jeon i will book a cab

JUNGKOOK: no need

Y/N: HUH!?

JUNGKOOK: i will drop you home come with me

Y/N: no it's fine Mr.jeon i will handle

JUNGKOOK: I wasn't asking..and it isn't even safe for you to go back home alone late at nights

Y/N: ok Mr.jeon I will pack my stuff in 5 minutes

AUTHOR'S POV

There was an awkward tension between both of them
Jungkook was driving and yn was looking out of the window whole ride

There was an uncomfortable silence between them
After sometime they reached at her apartment
Yn was about to go but Jungkook came out of his car and stopped her

JUNGKOOK: YN WAIT!!

Y/N: What happened MR.JEON

JUNGKOOK didn't said anything just went toward her and hugged her tightly

Y/N's eyes widened
She couldn't process anything
What just happened
Her COLD BOSS hugged her out of nowhere
