The Broken Lands is a beautiful, magical place with mystical creatures. But The Broken Lands had a very dark past. There Was once a very powerful demon who owned the lands, but we'll get more into that later. Right now let's focus on our main character.

    "Dad, I don't want to be a part of mom's stupid business. It's crazy!" "Well Orion, when are you going to get a job? We've been waiting for you to leave the house for months." "I've been trying to get a job for months, and you know that it's just hard!" Orion replied, "Well you could just try working for the agency, we never said you had to, it was just a suggestion." Orion's dad requested "Fine, I'll try it" Orion replied. What a mistake he made.

Orion stood in front of the enormous doors to his mom's office. "Who would need a door this big?" he thought, he grabbed the handle and opened the door. "Hey, Ori! How's your day!" Orion's mom Lorelei said, "I'm taking the job, only for a day." Orion said to his mom "Uh, no that's not how it works, you don't just stay for a day that's boring." Lorelei replied, "Soooo what do I do then?" Orion asked "So you know how our agency does secret stuff? I don't know how to say it while keeping it a surprise." "Yeah?" "Well we have to send you on a mission to see if you like it, but not a light mission." Lorelei explains "Oh, so I just have to do a mission. Easy enough" Orion explains "Okay, so are you good to start tomorrow, if you are then I'll have my assistant show you your team." Lorelei says "Wait, I get a whole team." Orion says surprised "Well not a team, more like a partner for now." Lorelei says before telling her assistant to lead Orion to his partner.

    Lorelei's assistant leads Orion into this one room. It had two couches, a tv, and some food. "If you didn't know this is the lounge area." The assistant says before walking off and shutting the door behind him. Orion walked into the room a bit more until he noticed a person out of the corner of his eye. It was a boy who looked way younger than him who was wearing a hoodie and sleeping peacefully on one of the couches. "This dude is slumped, knocked out cold." Orion thought "He looks like 14. How the heck did he even get this job? I guess mom just hiren' anyone now." Orion thought before he looked back at the boy, only to see the boy staring right at him. Orion quickly looked away, having no idea why he just did. "What do you want? Also, I've never seen you around here before."

The boy says "Oh, uh I'm trying to get a position in my mom's agency." Orion replies "Wait, your Mrs.Caddel's son? You're Cujo right?" The boy says, "No no, that's my little brother. I'm Orion, but me and my brother get mixed up a lot. I don't know how, considering we're years apart in age." Orion corrects the kid "Oh, anyways the names Lolan, I do some of the more serious stuff like, well I can't really explain it, but you'll find out soon." Lolan says as he gets back to his nap.

    About 3 mins later Lorelei walks into the room, "Ori, it's time to go, you have a new mission tomorrow morning! This mission will be one of those long ones that take about a week and nobody else wants to do it, so you were the unlucky winners! Also Lolan please make sure Orion doesn't die tomorrow please" Lorelei exclaimed, "Wait wait wait, I'm able to DIE doing this ?!" Orion questions his mom "What no? That was one hundred percent a joke, right Lolo?" "Yeah mhm," Lolan says, trying to go back to sleep. "Alright, bye Lolan!" Orion says while Lolan only responds with a short groan.

    Lorelei and Orion arrive at Lorelei's car, "I did not know I was able to die doing this." Orion says flabbergasted, "Oh no, you won't die. Not when Lolans with you, at least I don't think so." Lorelei replies, "Oh really, how many people have died working for you so far." Orion asks "Oh only 4-" Lorelei replies "Oh that's a way lower number than I thought." "-hundred..." Lorelei said as she realized how significant that number is.  The rest of the ride home went well, singing songs that came on the radio, and other shenanigans. But eventually, they stopped at a gas station. "Ori, could you please run in and grab me some water?" Lorelei asks while filling the tank, "Yeah sure." Orion says as he walks away. As soon as he walked in someone wearing all black with a mask came in, "Is this a robbery?" Orion thought. The robber walked up to Orion and held a gun to his head, he went into full panic mode inside but stayed calm outside. He thought of a plan that might've worked, even though he has absolutely no combat skills whatsoever, "Please lord let this plan work." Orion thought sarcastically. Orion grabs the robber's arm and twisted it, then he kicks the back of his knee making the robber fall in the process. The robber fell on his head and as he was about to pull the trigger he quickly directed the gun somewhere to his side and ended up shooting the ground. "Why are you shooting at me, Lolan?" some lady says, Orion directs his attention towards the person, turns out it was his mom. "Why do you think Mrs.Caddel? Maybe it's because you made me hold a rookie whos your child at gunpoint." the robber says, taking off his mask to reveal the person under was Lolan. "So what's going on? I'm confused as heck, and Lolan why are you robbing a gas station?"
