A week after the stand battle, all three girls were sitting in the hospital. Silvia was laying in her room, watching the sun go down over the city. As she was thinking about everything that happened. How she hadn't been able to help the one time she needed to. But she also thought about Nnaami. From what she had heard, Nanami had a severe concussion as well as some internal bleeding. She was rushed to ICU and had to be placed under heavy medication.
"Lucky girl," Silvia muttered. "Still getting to sleep while I have to sit here, awake and bored." A doctor walked in to check on her. She had Silvia lift her shirt to examine the injuries on her back again and had her do some stretching. While the doctor was filling out paperwork, there was a knock at the door. The doctor opened it, and Kiyo walked in. Silvia lit up.

"Hi Kiyo," she said, voice bubbling with excitement. A firm bandage was wrapped around Kiyo's head, holding her jaw in place. She had a broken jaw, a dislocated knee, and a few smaller injuries. Kiyo grabbed a whiteboard and a marker off of her I.V. walker.

"Hi, Silvia! How are you?" is what it read. Silvia shrugged.

"Bored, I guess." Kiyo wrote something down.

"Same. That's why I came to see you. Needed someone to talk-er- write to." Silvia chuckled.

"Wait, Kiyo, can't you just use your..." Silvia trailed off after Nanami made a face.
"Everything alright ladies," the doctor asked.

"Just great, thanks," Silvia replied. She motioned for the whiteboard so she could write something down.

"Do the doctors now know you have a stand?"

"No! How would you explain that to her?" Silvia shrugged again, tweaking something in her back and making a face. Kiyo giggled through her nose. Once the doctor left, Kiyo pulled out Murmur.

"There you are, Murmur. Good to see you."

"Silvia, it's still me, just talking through my stand," Kiyo said.

"I know! I just like seeing Murmur." Silvia looked down for a moment.

"How's Nanami doing?"

"She's awake but can't have visitors." Silvia nodded.

"And what about her mom? Is she alive?" Kiyo smiled a half smile.

"Nanami let her live." Silvia grinned.

"So she is capable of learning. Didn't know that was possible. Will she be going to see her?"

"Maybe? Her mom did a lot of damage as you know."

"True. But sometimes injuries like that can change people for the better."

"We'll have to wait and see." Kiyo sat on the end of Silvia's bed and looked out the window with her. All of them were ng for a smooth recovery.

Two weeks later, Nanami walked into the psychiatric wing of the hospital.

"I'm here to see Azuki Kempton," Nanami told the secretary.

"And are you related to her by any chance," the secretary asked.

"Yes. I'm her daughter. Nanami Kempton." The secretary smiled at Nanami and did some looking at the records on her computer.

"She's in room 203. You can go talk to her, but that is it. Don't try to give her anything or touch her. Ok?" Nanami nodded and walked up to the room. Her fingers were trembling as she went. And there was nothing she could look at to distract herself. Everything was pale and pastel- sterile, and Nanami hated it. She found the room rather quickly and knocked that the door. A kind-looking gentleman opened the door.
