Y/n immediately woke up from the horrible nightmare and sat up, she observes her surroundings with caution and sighed in relief when she confirmed she was still in the carriage.

"Is the young mistress alright?"

Y/n looked at the source of the voice to see her butler, Tadashi who seemed concerned about the young mistress.

'It was all a nightmare, I'm glad...' Y/n thought to herself before replying to the butler right next to her. "I am alright, no need to ask me..." Y/n smiles reassuringly at the butler, who hummed in response.

"...A nightmare, I presume?" Tadashi puts his index finger up to his chin and gave the young mistress a small smile. Y/n stayed silent, no replies coming out of her mouth.

"I'll take that as a 'yes'. You can talk to me about it when you're ready." Tadashi smiles and turns away waiting for the young mistress's response.

'How am I supposed to explain the dream to him...?' Y/n too, turns away in an attempt to act all tough and 'brave'. 'I possibly can't just tell him a woman with snake-like features, can I?'

'I mean, it's probably just a meaningless dream that felt real... Right?' Y/n starts contemplating an explanation she could tell Tadashi.

"So... You dreamt about a snake woman... Who tried to eat you?" Tadashi asks trying to process the young mistress's words. "Yes." Y/n shortly replies while Tadashi slowly nods.

"A dream like that could have made you a bit scared since we are on a road in the middle of the woods... " Tadashi puts his index finger to his chin and smiles. "Please do remember that dreams are just images our brain processes and based on our feelings...".

"Mhm! " Y/n hummed in delight as Tadashi laughed, Y/n who did not tell Tadashi about the part where he threw her into a river, dismissed the feeling.

'I don't want to tell you that a part of my dream... You threw me into a river... Which is pretty random.' Y/n smiles at the thought.

"Anything else you want to tell me?" Y/n's heartbeat immediately dropped at the sudden words of Tadashi. "Not at all," Y/n smiled it off as Tadashi nods with a small smile.

Y/n averted her attention toward the carriage window and admired the view the carriage passed by, yes, it was just all trees, but, who wouldn't want to?

"Are you certain you have nothing else to tell me at all?" Tadashi asks again to the girl next to him. "Nothing at all! Everything's good." Y/n spoke with an assuring tone without even facing the butler next to her. "If you have already decided to tell me, I'm always here."

"Thank you, Tadashi, but I assure you that everything's alright, nothing to worry about!" She says as she gazes at the trees the carriage rode by, Tadashi sighs and rests his right arm on the carriage window.

As Y/n watches the sight, she thought she just saw a glimpse of glowing yellow eyes. 'Huh? Were those just eyes...?' Y/n looked back to where she saw those eyes but, they weren't there. 'Guess it was just my imagination...'

Y/n shrugged the suspicious feeling off and continued watching the view.

An hour later, Y/n couldn't help but feel bored just watching the trees pass by. There were no signs of any people too, Y/n sighed.

The carriage then suddenly stopped catching the attention of both Y/n and Tadashi. "I'll check on the coachman, stay here, I'll be back," Tadashi spoke as he stands up and went outside, leaving the Y/n inside on her own.
