Sakura craved a good fight, she had tried her best to be the angelic child her mother desperately needs, the solid stable person for the delicate woman to lean on.

She made top scores, never got into any trouble. Still there was that never ending itch to have her body in motion and to have the adrenaline rush through her veins.

That's why at the first chance she joined every martial art club she could. Judo, karate, mixed, kendo, even archery. It just didn't feel the same as straight up sparring the way she was used to.

Used to? Did she use to spar? With who?

"Sakura-chan!" Sunshine laced hair and eyes that rival the skies.

Who is he?!

It was the same everyday, until she noticed one of her club mates acting strange. More mature, more determined.

She watched from the crowd as the peach colored girl smacked the short blonde teen. Everyone tense waiting for someone to attack, however Sakura could tell nothing would happen, neither blonds reeked of intent.

The situation ended quickly leaving Sakura empty and frustrated, the bloodlust simmered beneath her skin.

Fast forward to the festival, a bunch of her friends had invited her to go and she almost refused.

But something, maybe her gut or instinct, told her to go the event. The promise of satisfaction lingered in the back of her mind, the excitement of the unknown accelerated her heart.

Sakura split off from the group watching as they continued on not even noticing her absence. The teen had never been entirely close with them anyways, friendly but distant.

The pink-haired teen surveyed the forest enjoying the cool night, the crickets playing their nightly song, till her movements came to a harsh stop. A scent she hadn't smelt in a long time came to her, blood.

Blood?

She practiced a verity of martial arts blood was a common factor in all.

But why did it always seem so hauntingly familiar?!

On the ground in front of an abandoned shrine laid her little judo club mate, Takemichi.

He lamented about his struggles as it began to rain, stating he needed to get to the parking lot as he struggled with the pain.

Sakura sympathized but she wanted nothing more then to let loose. She left his wailing behind swiftly making her way through the trees.

Why were her moves so fluent? She had never moved through the treetops like this before.
