On The Way

I don't think our group is alive still. I especially don't think Rick would go there anyway. Not after the prison, he is to "lone wolf" type. I only said that to Daryl so that we could go. He would have passed it up, I know him all to well. I think I played it off though. I would make a good actress don't ya think? The scorching heat was beaming on Daryl and I. I always wore my jacket. I never took it off, but today gosh the sun is riding on my back. I put my jacket in my backpack so I wouldn't loose it when it got cooler.

"Look!" There was a sign for Terminus that had "Glenn" writin on it.

"Maggie has been here." Daryl told me.

"I told you they were alive." I said. I hugged Daryl, tightly.

"We better go" he said looking over at the Terminus sign. He slowly touched the sign, were it said Glenn on it. "Blood, its still wet."

"Lets go!" I yelled excitedly at Daryl.There was a tunnel a mile up from the sign. It was dark so I already had my flashlight out. Glenn was alive, so was Maggie. Maybe i was wrong.

"Were is Terminus even at?"

There is a map and signs that show were they are." Daryl told me.

We were still standing at the edge of the tunnel. I was afraid. Why? I don't know! I have fought the undead. Found my way down a hall without a light. (because i flow ;) )

Daryl must have seen me looking like a child going into a dark room. "Lets go you big chicken" Daryl said teasing me. We both laughed. We started going through the tunnel, I was shacking all over. Nothing scares me anymore, just the dark. Not little bit of light dark, but pitch black. Halfway through, there was a wall of cement and walkers.

"HELP!!"a voice cried in pain.

"Okay! Were coming! Stop screaming your attracting them!" I yelled. I started to climb the dead bodies. I slipped and Daryl grabbed my waist and threw me back up. I seen a glimpse of a young-ish guy. I got closer and realized it was.

"GLENN!" I screamed. I teared up. "Daryl! Its Glenn! Help me!He is stuck!"

We slowly removed the pieces of cement and dead bodies from him. We finally got him free and he stood up. He had a limp. I hugged him very tightly. Daryl was still looking for a way out. That wan't the way we came in , I was not going through the other way.

"Are you okay? Was there anyone else with you? Were are you going?" I asked, pulling out of the hug.

"I'm fine. Yes, Eugene, Abraham, and Rosita. I'm going to Terminus."

"Were are they?" Daryl said turning around.

"They went to go get help." Glenn said pointing up at the whole in the top of the tunnel. We had to leave. The tunnel was about to cave in!

"We can go through the whole!" Glenn screamed as the moans of more walkers were coming toward us. I was the smallest so I went first. On top of the tunnel was a road, it was to the city.

"When did they say they would be back?" I asked. It was dark out. Who knows how long hes been here? How long was he like that? Why would they all leave him alone?

They finally made it to the top standing next to me.

"I don't know, I was like that for hours." Glenn told me.

"We got to find them!" I exclaimed.

"We will tomorrow, we have to get some were safe." Daryl told us.

"Were?" Glenn asked. The only place here close was- oh no!

"We have to go in the city." Daryl told him.

Sorry I didnt post. Busy with school. I dont know if I will get to post tomorrow or not. Anyway, I need more likes and Votes! I want to see how far this story can go! Dont wory, The last few chapters I have been writing, are a little more lovey dovey. Its sort of hard to get Daryl to that point without breaking the character. I work super hard on these chapters. Of course, I said I was going to do chan/Carl fanfics as well but First, I want to get somewere with this book. Ya know what I mean?
