Hyunjin's POV
I had the same nightmare today too. My mom being taken away from me by cancer and my dad getting married to my step-mother at the same time. I woke up with tears in my eyes, such a way to start the morning. I went to the office late.
By the time I had arrived it was the lunch break. I was already grumpy since I hadn't eaten anything since the morning.
I accidentally spilled my coffee on a guy's shirt, But unlike I expected he didn't jump at me for ruining his shirt, he patiently waited for what seemed like an apology.
*Imaginary hair flip*, me apologize? I'd rather get shot. I said "Such a nuisance." and threw my coffee in the bin and took his instead and left.
He looked like he would kill me right there, but for some reason he didn't do anything. While walking I smiled and thought "Cute".
I entered the 17th floor and go to my cubicle when Chan told me about our new employee, it was that same cute guy from earlier. His name was Lee Felix it seems, such a pretty name. To not show any different I said "Mm" and went to my cubicle once I got in I looked at him, he can't see me because the cubicle is tinted.
He looked kind of offended. Then again he did nothing.
After an hour or so Chan comes in my office and passes me the files about our new client.
Just then, I heard the mic being turned on and Felix started saying loud and clear "Oh don't even get me started noona, he's a literal nightmare, I think his name is Hwang Hyunjin or something." Wait he's talking about me? I was a bit confused, Chan was too. We both look at each other in confusion but the 'announcement' was not even close to being over yet.
Felix continued "He is soo annoying, he's good looking but his attitude will make you wanna punch him in his inhumanely-good-looking face like he spilled coffee on my white shirt and then, he started acting like it was my fault and walked away with MY coffee."
Oh, so he was holding a grudge? Cute. "God I will kidnap him, torture him, drain his blood, cut him into a thousand pieces and then put him in acid." That kind of made me flinch, who would have thought that such an innocent face would say this. I see Y/n running towards the recording room. "Such a jerk. I also heard he's like this to everyone no matter the gender but please.... not everyone is in love with him and he thinks that I would show interest in him? I'd rather get shot."
Oh, really now? Let's see if I can change your mind. Y/n announced what was needed and the mic turned off. I asked Chan "That was the newbie right?" "Yeah" he replied "Call him here I wanna talk to him.". With that Chan left the cubicle. I just smirked to myself, amused with his duality.
Felix's POV
I slowly walk towards Hyunjin's office, wondering if I'm going to get fired on my first day.
I enter the cubicle. Hyunjin tells me to sit on the chair next to him. "Felix, right?" he asks. "Yes, sir." I reply. "I'd prefer you call me Hyunjin.". I dared not speak so I simply nodded. He smiled and started asking about me he asked me about Chan, My family, My job experiences and my majors. He actually seemed quiet chill. He then asked me "Mind if I gave you a task?" He asks. "Sure." I reply.
"Chan has some family emergencies and will be gone for 3 months. So would you take his place as my PA?". I didn't see anything wrong with that so I agreed. I left the room and sat at my seat.
Felix's POV
I stayed a bit late because I had some work left to do. I was about to leave when Hyunjin comes and tells me something "Hey, I forgot to tell you something. Since Chan used to stay with me you also should. It's better because when you're my PA I'll need you most of the time, for the issues with clients. So if you're with me most of the time, the issue will be resolved, that is if you want to. Otherwise you can just get ready to travel around a lot"
"What? Like today?" "You can move in day after tomorrow.". He then smiles and leaves.I mean, he has a point, plus, it can't be that bad right?
