Chapter 8 - Parent Visit

Hyunjin got back home after a few hours. Jeon called him because his company has gotten a lot of profit with the help of Hyunjin's company.

He said that he would like to throw a party in the honor of that. Since Hyunjin didn't really think that it was a bad idea he agreed, it might even do good for the company because they would get good reputation cause Perfumebay is a luxury brand that everyone knows about.

When he got back he saw Felix was sitting on the couch fiddling with his fingers and bouncing his leg up and down. The second he saw Hyunjin he ran up to him and said "Hyunjin, Hyunjin I need your help!" "Calm down, what is it?" "Well my parents and sister are coming like, right now." "Oh that's great!" "No it's not, they were trying to marry me off because I said I am not attracted to women. He says it will change once I marry." "Well, that sounds like bullshit." "It is, so because I wanted to escape from that situation I said I have a boyfriend." "Who'd you say it was?"

"I said it was you and they're coming to see you.". Hyunjin's eyes widened. "WHAT!?" "I know I'm sorry, I just panicked." "No, it's fine I understand but when they ask about our backstory and all what are we gonna say?" "Oh I don't think they'll ask that but what's important right now is that they can come any moment now." 

Just then the bell rang. "God.". Felix opens the door. "Hey Mom! Hey Dad! Hey Sis!" Mrs. Lee goes in for a hug. "Oh how I missed my baby!". She enters and looks at Hyunjin and says "You must be Hyunjin, the boyfriend." Hyunjin bows. "Yes, ma'am." "Call me mom you're my son now anyways.". She then winks at him and says "Felix is really in love with you, he never goes against his father. But he did and guess for who, you.".

Then Felix's father enters and shakes Hyunjin's hand "I'm Felix's father, you must be his boyfriend." Hyunjin bows and says "Yes, sir.". "Hmm.". Felix then leads them to the couch and seats them. He goes to the kitchen which was not very far from the living room. He starts making some tea. 

Hyunjin was in the living room. Sitting with Felix's parents. "I also heard you were Felix's Boss." says Mr. Lee. "Yes, sir.". "How'd you meet?". Shit, is what Felix thought. Hyunjin softly smiled and said "Well once in our company during lunch time I accidentally spilled coffee on him. He was mad at me but he didn't do anything. I found that cute. I was more interested in him and when I saw him with on of our clients I got jealous and that's when I realized I was head over heels for him. I don't fall in love easily. But I couldn't stop myself when it was Felix. I asked him to be my boyfriend and at first he said he'll have to think about it. Then one night he told me that he loves me too but he was afraid you would deny it but I told him that you would understand because Mr. Lee I'm head over heels for your son. I can't imagine my life without him. He is a blessing for me. Ever since he has stepped into my life it has been so much more brighter. I love everything about him his face, his personality, his smile, his eyes, his freckles, everything. Please I can't lose him. I love him more than anything in this world."

Felix's mouth dropped when he heard everything from the kitchen. Hyunjin sounded so sincere, because he was. But Felix didn't know that and just silently hoped for it to be real. Mr. Lee smiled and said "Who said I'm taking him from you. See son, I love Felix and I always just want him to be happy and I chose his choices that he should have taken for him. Because I cared about him but now I understand that I was kind of taking more from him. I give you permission to date my son. Then later *whispers* marry him." Felix didn't hear the last part. He got the tea and put it on a tray and placed it on the table in the center of the living room.

Mr. Lee took a cup of tea and said "Hyunjin." "Yes, sir?". "Call me dad from now on.". "Yes, dad.". Felix sat next to Hyunjin and they all chatted for a while and then they left. "Thank you sooooo much Hyunjin!!!" Felix says and hugs Hyunjin and gives him a long kiss on his cheek. They then just stared at each other and smiled.
