Chapter 2

It is getting dark, but I can't stop moving. I want to get as far as possible from this nightmare I live in. The woods are beginning to look eerie. Suddenly, there is a snapping noise and I turn quickly and see a bunny cross the path I've just made. I sigh, "Really, a bunny won't kill you Cassie."

I laughed at how stupid I was, then I turned around and was met with a white wolf. It was huge! I mean like large car sized huge! I freeze, and my eyes widen. Slowly, I take steps back, my eyes never leaving the wolf. Do you think it was given steroids or something?

He (at least I think it was a he, the males are usually bigger right?) growls and bares his teeth. He slowly saunters foward and attacks. It leaps at me claws ready to puncture my delicate skin. I duck just before he could do any damage, and scream. As I fall I manage to catch a glimpse of his underside.

Yep defiantly a boy, I think.

I jump to my feet and stand perfectly still, knowing that there is no way I can out run a full-grown, steroid-enjected male wolf. I take hesitant steps backwards and make it maybe 10 feet before a branch snaps under my foot. Shit, I don't want to die today!

He refocuses his attention on me and growls, not having any other option, I run. I run what seems like the fastest I ever had in my life before I am tackled, not by a wolf though. I turn to see a god on top of me (not a got but he should be with those arm muscles, come on.) He gives me a cheeky grin as I stare into his deep brown eyes, then I notice something else. He is completely naked. Oh. My. God.

"I can explain this, I have a great explanation," his voice is low and gruff, I want him to keep talking. He could read the phone book for all I care just keep talking.

"You want me to read the phone book while I'm naked," he says in confusion. Only then do I realize that I said that out loud. Double Shit!

"What I want you to do is get off of me. Is personal space like not a thing in the woods, and can you do me a favor and cover up!? My eyes are still pure, thank you."

He chuckles and stands, with his everything showing. I quickly cover my eyes with my hands.

Oh god I'm going to be sick. I'm going to die, this is the end of me. He is showing everything, ok his 6-pack is kinda nice though, I think to myself, and mentally smack my forehead, Get a grip moron!

He starts walking away and kicks a tree. Why would he kick a tree? The tree opens somewhat like a wardrobe and inside are clothes. He grabs a sweatshirt and some sweatpants and goes behind a tree to put on his clothes.

"Now you go behind the tree? Noooo, not before you tackle a strange girl while naked. Did your parents teach you no manners at all," I ask slightly upset by the thing that just happened. He pops his head out and smiles, revealing his pearly whites. It's actually a little cute. No, this guy just tackled you, no feelings, I think.

"Would you prefer me to put on clothes in front of you, I mean it'd be a great show." My mouth drops.

The nerve of this guy. Oh, right. The ego every hot guy carries. Why can't there be one cute guy that doesn't think of himself as a god? It's just heart breaking! I get up and dust myself off.

"Yeah, it was great time meeting you. I'm going to go now. Bit if advice though, don't tackle a girl when your naked it gets a little weird." I say and turn around ready to start walking away, but someone grabs my arm.

"Sorry, you're not leaving." The now not naked stranger tells me. I was getting ready to protest, when he put his hand on my mouth. I reached to take it off, but his other hand held my hands to my back.

No, no, no. This isn't happening! I'm too young to die! I never really got to say goodbye to everyone, well that was my fault but still! I have a whole, full life to live with grandkids!

I struggle against him, but he just continues to drag me along. I should have listened! Stupid, stupid Cassandra!!
