...........

Rule no #2: Both participants can leave the game anytime they wish.

Rule no #3: One can only wager one thing every step each of  which should be of equal value. For example a jewelry one bets must be of same value to bet against the jewelry the other participant has put forth.

Rule no #4: One can only bet something they can claim as theirs and they are proud of.

Mahamahim Bhisma drones on and on. Duryodhan gets quite impatient. He would have liked to bash the Pandavas' head with a mace especially that proud repulsive Empress Panchali's but as usual his uncle has suggested a better plan. Even though every time those plans fell through, he can not say no to him for he has been the only one to shower him with assurance in childhood. He does not even like chausar. He tries to appear awake when his mamashree puts forth some of his own rules.

# though both participants will be able to leave anytime wish, both of them will decide that together. If only one of them agrees, they have to give the other by something that will be enough as a compensation for the other to agree.

# As every one's idea about value is different, value will depend upon their respective outlook. For example if Emperor Yudhisthir bets a Lance , Duryodhan can bet a mace against it as these are their respective choice of weapons.

# One will be able to bet something they are proud of but can not claim if they gain permission.

The chausar starts will all of those rules. But Mamashree could have hardly imagined the rules he put forth for his nephew's welfare will bring forth destruction of his own plan! Also will change the history of a gruesome war !!

And so the game continues and Samrat just keeps on losing.First his wealth, horses, elephants, cows then his palace and kingdom. Yet his determination to earn back the lost wealth does not sate, soon he resorts to place a bet on his own brothers starting with Nakul.

As one could have easily guessed, he did lose both his twin brothers in chausar.

Without any guilt, Samrat has uttered the next devastating statement of his-

Then this time I stake ARJUNA

Having easily understood what his next course of action is going to be,Bhima shouts-

Please do whatever but do not bet Arjuna for he is the only one who can fight all Kauravas and win back our brothers. If you still want to continue this god forsaken game, bet me instead.

- But Samrat has already declared to stake your brother, Prince Bhima.  If Samrat wishes to forego his word, we will of course agree.

- Uff ,what kind of a fool is he?

thinks Suyodhan .He is betting his brothers . Is something going to be really different  whether he bets Bhima or Arjuna?

- NO,  I am not going to change my decision. I will stake Arjuna. Cousin, please put forth your own bet against.

Parth curses his brother in his mind. It seems his brother has left all his common sense back at Indraprasth. Now what will save the utter devastation of his family?
