I strode through the classroom, to the only table full of girls. Last year I was stuck with boys because I came late. A table full of boys, I was the only girl. Can you believe it?! It was terrible being the only girl. Oh, it was so lonely! I already have enough of that, having Ray with me. I love him and all, but he's just so....him. Only people with siblings would understand. The boys I sat with were all from the popular clique at school. I'm from the girl's popular clique. You are probably thinking that it is not that bad. Us boys and girls freaking hate eachother. We have a long history....You know what made it worse, sitting at that table, Andrew just had to be in their clique and sit with us. Every single year, he is in my homeroom, it's crazy! Is that even possible?! I breathed in relief when I saw that my homeroom was Andrew-free. There was a sharp pain in my back. As quickly as it came, it was gone. I turned around. "What the heck is your prob-" I stopped short when I saw who it was...."You.." I breathed, looking at Andrew. "Surprised?" He smirked. "Who jabs people like that?" I frowned. "More importantly, get out of my way." He barked.I stalked over to the table and took a seat. The teacher, Mrs.Robin, at-least that's what I think her name is, didn't even noticed us fighting. I fished my iphone 6 out of my pocket and pressesd my thumb to the button.  It unlocked and showed the home-screen. I tapped on the camera icon. I'm really not a "selfie person", but I do like taking pictures of myself every once in a while. I started making random faces and snapping photos. "Oooh, someone's taking selfies!" the girl sitting next to me whispered. "I'm just taking a few photos." I argued. " Sure, sure. But know I know why everyone likes you, you're just so cute! You're turning all red like a strawberry." she giggled enthusiastically. "Heh..heh...heh?" I said hesitantly, unsure what to do. "Hello children, I'm Mrs. Robin, as you all know, and welcome to your last year of high school. You'll then be moving on to college. The bell will ring in 5 minutes so I will give my speech. If there is any bullying, please report it to an adult. No running in the halls. Be kind to others. Encourage those who are hesitant. And lastly, always be on your best behavior. I hope you enjoy your year." she said in a monotone voice. What kind of speech was that?! I can tell what someone's intentions are just by looking at them. Is that normal? Of course I've never told anyone, but it's because I really don't know why it happens. It's like this, I'm lost in thought and I glance at some random guy, and suddenly, your brain is bombarded with their thoughts. I'm not trying to invade their privacy, It just comes un-invited. Even though it is kind of rude, I kind of enjoy hearing the thoughts of others, though some can be unpleasant. The weird thing was, I couldn't hear the thoughts of two people in this classroom, Andrew and Mrs. Robin. Instead, I saw a ring of black smoke around Mrs. Robin, and a ring of red smoke around Andrew. I think I'm having a hullucination!
