Prologue

To be or not to be, that is the question

I was reading Shakespeare's Hamlet again. People say Shakespeare was one of the biggest authors before the radiation attack. I would like to read more of his book but sadly there weren't any, weather outside and radiation ruined them.

A hundred years ago there was radiation attack. It killed most of the people but there were survivors. The survivors split into groups and built villages, the human race has not completely recovered, we are still very few, but it is slowly being worked on.

We don't know how that radiation attack happened. Some people say there were aliens, the smarter ones say it was the human way of living, how they treated Earth.

Every group of people has their own name, we are Halazia. Our territory is located in the former South Korea, we border the Qawi and Xuhsel clans, we help each other and fight against the Xunkar, but there are strict rules. We are not allowed to associate with any of the other clans, we are not allowed to help them except against the Xunkar. No one is interested in talking to them, we are at peace, that's enough. Well.. Everyone except me.. One of the Xuhsel people caught my eye. You may think it's okay, they would allow.. No.. This sin is punishable by death. Not only mine, but also his even thought he doesn't even know me. That's why I can't tell anyone.

I put the book down and lay down on the bed.
