Its been a year or so, and i haven't gotten in contact with wonyoung since then. Sure, i was there at her performances and concerts but she never saw me due to me being overshadowed by the longing fans to see their favorite idols. Whenever i watched them perform, i got this rush of motivation to start my own journey on becoming a kpop idol.
So exactly on this day, i auditioned.
I danced to "Fancy" by Twice and sang "Good Day" by IU. I was blown away by how i managed to make the high note sound good, with no training or anything i did it flawlessly with no mistakes, i was confident that this was a good audition.
I chose Starship Entertainment because i really loved Sistar and their music. And so, my audition was sent.
I was checking my phone every minute to see if they responded, but of course, they didn't reply immediately.
The next day, i woke up and made myself a bagel with avocado and and an egg. As i was eating, a message popped up on my phone that i had been accepted into starship??
First, i finished eating and then i jumped with joy as they said that they loved my audition, and that i could be an amazing vocalist with a little bit more training.
I didn't spend a second doing nothing, i quickly got on my computer and did a ton of voice lessons before i actually went to the company.
I also danced a bit more and took advice from other dancers on what i should fix if i look stiff while dancing.
Maybe i'm not an idol yet, but i'm way closer than i was.
