Her ears were ringing, the first thing she noticed was that she was warmer than before as she slowly came back to consciousness. She felt around with her hands and opened her eyes, she was laying in a soft bed wrapped in a blanket, still in her clothes from before. She looked around confused, but everything that had happened came back to her when she saw it, or her?

She relaxed a bit seeing her face, she had a soft expression, she looked like a woman but with fur on her face, hands and arms, she seemed like she had once been beautiful. Something about her presence made her feel more calm, though she looked slightly frightening her aura felt warm and welcoming. "I'm sorry.." she said quietly, not loud enough for Rose to hear.

Rose rubbed her eyes, taking a minute to just observe her, she sat up. She didn't know how to break the silence, but was relieved to hear her speak up, "my name is Celine, and your name is?" she did not sound confrontational, she sounded soft and curious.

She held her hands in her lap "I'm rose." she heard Celine mumble "Rose.. Pretty." Then she looked at her, her eyes were the most human part of her face, a light, shiny blue. Rose looked out the small window on the closest wall to her, it was getting dark, "well- it's late i'd better be going-"

Celine shook her head lightly "I'm sorry Rose... you can't leave." her heart sank, remembering the promise she made to Josephine, "wh-what?" Celine still didn't look scary, she looked as if she felt guilty. "well.. " she started to explain her story, the reasoning behind her being there, and an explanation to her appearance. "the- " she sighed "the only way to break the curse is for the first person who comes across the castle to fall in love with me."

Rose was shocked, very shocked, unsure of if she even believed her, but the way Celine– it must have been her. The way she was making her feel, she didn't feel afraid. But she wasn't sure about falling in love. "I know that's terrible.. And I won't pressure you at all, but you won't be able to leave." Celine said quietly. She didn't know how she felt, though she felt calm with her. She didn't know if she could fall in love with a stranger, but she wanted her time there to be enjoyable, so she wasn't going to start something. Rose tilted her head and spoke softly. "I- I just need to think.."

Celine nodded and stood up "I'll give you time, dinner will be ready at 5." Without another look or a word she walked out and closed the door.

Rose sat quietly thinking to herself, she was sad and scared, or at least she thought she should be. Away from home, trapped with a stranger, but something inside her wanted to be here, it felt.. Right. She couldn't explain it if she tried, not even to herself. She was reprehensive, but was not scared or unhappy. She was ready to give Celine a chance, so that she could set them both free.
