the caspian and dominic lore must go on i guess (short chapter because i have nothing planned out and just going with the flow)

It was a few hours after everyone had finally gotten their dorm and class information, including caspian and dominic.

It took a while for the students to bring what they needed to bring in their dorm room before officially moving in with majority of their stuff — but eventually they did get everything moved in.

The two boys didn't know their roommates and didn't WANT to know them. they just wanted to get through these four years without problems and with ease.

It was later in the day than they thought. The sun was gonna set in half an hour, but that just gives the campus students to attend the party the wardens daughter threw as a welcoming type of thing.

Caspian didn't hesitate to go, but dominic? his indecisive behavior got the best of him and he took quite a while to decide on if he'd actually attend the party or not.

dominic walked up to the estate the party was being thrown at and flinched at the sudden loud music playing.

He covered his ears and kept it moving, finding the smallest corner to shove himself in.

He watched as everyone enjoyed their time there with the friends they brought with him. something unfortunate on his end was his friends didn't arrive to orientation to get their shit set straight. they usually appear when things start to unfold.

He sighed, leaning on his hand which was rested on his lap. with his eyes slightly closed — dominic felt someone's presence in front of him.

"are you like ... okay?" caspian asked him. dominic looked up at the male who was speaking to him. "Just lonely. though i'm not quite alone since i'm at this party." he responded in such a serious manner. "maybe i can change your status of loneliness." caspian didn't hesitate to make such a bold move.

"how exactly will you do that ? we just met — and you don't know what i like."

"i could know what you like. even if this is a party we aren't obligated to mess around with everyone else. we could , like, get to know each other."

It wasn't a shabby idea but get to know each other THERE? in such a noisy environment? it would be impossible to clearly hear one another.

"Parties aren't for conversation, yknow." the ash blonde had softly said.

it took him a while before he finally took a deep breath before he finally agreed to what caspian had said about getting to know each other .

"and i have a bully button piercing." the blonde had said, with his face slightly turning a nice shed of crimson red.

"will i ever get to see?" caspian boldly asked the flushed blonde. "perhaps one day if you ever see me shirtless. and i know, you most likely won't."

"who's to say?"
"Dunno. maybe the universe."

dominic chuckled as he looked away from the other. "you're interesting, but i'm not sure if it's a good interesting or a bad interesting." caspian said, while poking at his fishnets.

"and you still smell like weed."
"we've only met and you're attacking me and my issues..sheesh."
"i'm sorry?"
"see, you don't even hide the fact you show no remorse to your CRUEL words."
"shh, you'll live."

The awkward silence they experienced earlier in the day was suddenly back. the music at the party had gotten more muffled and lower, and it sounded like no music was going to be in the background at all after a while. neither of them knew what to say. their endless game of 21 questions finally came to an end. which wasn't unfortunate more than it was fortunate.

Til their next encounter will they finally , HOPEFULLY know what to say.
