Braxton High School

"Well, this is an impressive result. Young man! Welcome to your new school" the principal of Braxton High School (Williams Jones) remarked after glancing through James test results.

"Thank you so much!" Mrs Serena Craig shaked hands with Principal Williams.

The mother and son (Mrs Craig and James Craig) left Principal Williams's office before James started a conversation.

"Well, I guess this is my life now, new enemies, new rules, and probably new jesters".

His mom replied " Come on James, you have to be positive, you know I have no other choice, and besides, no one makes jest of you and I'm sure you won't make enemies but friends. Braxton is also a big school".

James mother was having a hard time, she had to withdraw James from his former school (Middleton High School). It appears that James mother, Serena, is a single mother and she also carries the burden of catering James and his sister, Jessica Craig alone. She couldn't cope with the heavy fees of James's former high school, so she had to withdraw him.

Jessica, on the other hand, was dumped by her father (Richard Craig) five months after her birth. Ever since then, Mrs Serena has been taking care of both James and Jessica. Jessica who is five years younger than James, is attending Cradenville High school which the tuition fee is less expensive than that of James's former school.

James was admitted into Braxton High School where he'll complete his schooling. The Principal, Williams had told James earlier to resume school by Monday, his first day on the first schooling week.

Time passed so fast, weekends was over, and it was James first day at school. He got prepared as quickly as possible to avoid being punished, for he read the school rules and regulations when he last visited his new school on Saturday with his mom.

" James! Are you ready?" James mother said, seeing him preparing for school.

He replied " Yes mom. I'm set to go".

His mother continued " First day at school huh? Don't worry, everything is gonna be fine, I promise".

James replied " Thanks mom, for always being there and supportive. Thanks for everything. I love you mom"

"I love you too son. Don't forget to pick your sister from school when you're through". She kissed his forehead before giving him his allowance.

James took his leave and boarded a taxi going to Ramsville street, his school location. Fortunately, he boarded the one with a female student who is also attending Braxton for he seemed to have forget the way to his school. However, he only noticed this when he saw the name tag hanging around her neck which contains information such as: name, school, ID number and a tiny passport picture.

As soon as he saw the tag, he realized that he forgot his own tag at home. But, it was too late, the car already zoomed off. The girl had to start a conversation when James couldn't take his eyes off her chest, for it was looking awkward.

"Um sorry..."

James cut her off before she could say anything " I'm sorry. It's just that I'm also attending the same school with you and it looks like I forgot my tag at home. I was so anxious that I couldn't stop staring at your tag. After all, it's my first day in school. Pri-sci-lla Barnes, that's a nice name though".

Priscilla giggled before replying " Did you say it looks like you forgot your tag? Of course you forgot! There's nothing that looks like. But, it's fine you can just tell the gatekeeper you forgot it and it's also your first day"
