(Jonathan's POV)
It is the new year and right now my fiancé Mary and I are on our way over to try out wedding cake flavors for our wedding. "I hope we can find our cake." She says as we walk into the cake shop that was owned and operated by a small Mennonite family. "We will." I say as we walk in from a freezing cold January afternoon. "Welcome. You must be the happy couple." A woman greets us. "Yes. Hello, thank you for taking the time out to meet with us and help us find the cake that everyone will enjoy." I say smiling as we sit down with her. "Not a problem at all. So let's get started." She say as she pulls out a notebook to start writing ideas down. "Well let's see where do we start?" Mary asks thinking. "Well let's start with how many guest are going to be at the wedding." She says. "We will have 130 people at the wedding." I say looking at the list we have in a binder. "Alright so that would probably be a three layered cake to feed everyone. Now what flavors would you want? Do you wanna mix flavors or keep them the same?" She asks. "I feel like we should alter the flavors just slightly." She says. "Okay. Do we have anyone who has an allergy to any kind of flavors?" She asks. "My maid of honor is allergic to ginger, cinnamon, pumpkin spice. And my closes friend is allergic to pineapples. I am also allergic to banana's." Mary states. "Alright and what about you sir?" She asks turning to me. "No one in my family or guests are allergic to anything." I say. "Alright. Let my go bring out some flavors for you guys to try and we will tell you what are the ingredients." She says standing and getting them. We try the flavors and decide on strawberry and vanilla cake. "Alright fantastic. Do you have any ideas on what you want the outside to look like?" She asks. My fiancé and I show her the idea we want and she writes it down. "Alright everything is all taken care for you both. We will make sure that your wedding cake is as beautiful as your wedding will be." She says as we finish our consultation.

"Thank you." Mary and I both say as we shake hands and leave into the cold January air. "Alright cake, church, invitations, catering, our marriage certificate is signed, and reception venue are all taken care of. Now it's just the flowers and the decorations as well as my dress." Mary says. "Well we will work together on everything other than me helping me get you your dress." I say as we drive off to have lunch. "I know. I have an appointment to go dress shopping tomorrow. I'm excited and nervous." She says sitting. "It will go well love. Don't worry. I know you will find a dress that is perfect for you." I say parking. "Okay." She says getting out. I smile and get out smiling and go inside with her and find a table at a local coffee shop. "So what do you want? This is on me." She says smiling. "I'll take a coffee and a scone." I say smiling. She just nods and smiles heading up to the counter and orders for us. "One black coffee with one cream and no sugar for you and a scone and a nonfat vanilla bean frappe and a cranberry muffin for me." She says setting everything on the table and takes a seat. "Thanks love." I say kissing her nose gently. "You're welcome." She says giggling and sips her drink. I eat and and enjoy my time with her. "So where to next?" She asks eating a bit of her muffin. "Well we are going to see my friend who is able to do our flower arrangements." I say smiling. "Well that's great. So all we have to do is decoration and finding my dress and the wedding parties outfits then our wedding set up is complete. I'm so excited and can't wait to finally say 'I do' to you in front of all our family and friends." She says smiling happily. "I can't wait either." I say smiling and hold her hand. She smiles and holds it and finishes up her food before we head to the car and drive to my friends business to look at some flower arrangements for our wedding. "Ahhh Jonathan how are you doing mate? This must be the beautiful woman you were talking about." My friend Jason says as we walk into his shop. "Hello Jason and yes this is my fiancé Mary." I say smiling. "Pleasure to meet you Jason." Mary says sweetly. "Pleasures all mine. So tell me about this wedding. Are we doing fake flowers or real flowers?" He asks jumping straight into the consultation. "We are going to do a mixture of both. The centerpieces and flower decorations are going to be fake but the flowers that the wedding party will have are going to be real. We can't have many real flowers because several of us are allergic to live flowers but still really like the smell." Mary states. "Alright not a problem. What kind of flowers we looking at?" He asks. "Mainly some roses and Lillies as well as some baby's breath." I say knowing that we both like those types of flowers.
