 HELLO DEAR READERS, THIS IS MY FIRST TIME WRITING A BOOK AND PLEASE EXCUSE ME IF ANYTHING IS CRINGE. YOU GUYS CAN SURELY COMMENT ANYTHING TO IMPROVE. I'LL TRY MY BEST TO ENTERTAIN YOU GUYS!!!

Max POV:

"Alpha duties are really hard to do", I said. "But Max that's what I am trying to explain to you, find your mate, it would surely help you." said my beta, Sid. I thought, why do all the people think so highly of a mate? Like they are just another creature like the rest. "A penny for your thoughts?"    " Sid I told you why to tie up with just one woman when I can lay down any one of my choice. I can get any girl I wish for." "You are impossible Max. You'll know when you meet your mate one day." sighed Sid heavily. "I would gladly reject her and now, get back to work." I am Alpha of the biggest and strongest pack, the moonlight pack, of America and I have no desire of wanting a mate for myself.

                                Its late and I work till late hours until I get my distraction and here my office door opens and I can see my distraction coming towards me slowly and in a really seducing manner. "Hi, Katherine" I say with an sluty smirk. Kat gets my intention and starts undoing my belt. I close all my work and focus my attention towards my new assignment. I have laid down each and every adult she-wolf of this pack but Kat still seems to be the best. She knows how to satisfy my needs the way I want. Kat does her work and in return I bend her over my desk and the rest is the history our usual nights. Who the f*ck needs a mate when u can bend over anyone and listen your name as worship like this, surely not me.

The next morning

 I woke up early this morning carefully eyeing my room. Something is wrong and I can sense it. Kat left early in the morning after our session so she is not the threat I am sensing right now. I shift immediately into a massive black wolf and smelled a rogue near the forest. I jumped out the window in an instance, breaking the glass, the rogue had no time to escape. And in a matter of time I caught a tiny white she-wolf. This is the first She- wolf I am attracted and the overwhelming presence of her is intoxicating. she has the sweetest scent like mint and chocolate, I can smell it whole day. Immediately I feel a sense of protectiveness and possessiveness for this little rogue. "Mate", Creek, my wolf screamed with excitement in my head and I simply growled at the mere thought of finding my mate. Creek was unhappy by my reaction and wanted to take over but I am not a fool to let him take over. If I allow Creek to take over he will instantly mark this Mate of ours and then I wont be able to reject her. I have heard from the elders that if we mark a Mate and then Reject her our wolf dies and we turn into something horrifying, sleeking creature. I don't want to sleek I still have big ambitions to fulfill and this little rogue can't just destroy it.

                                 By the time I am done fighting my wolf and suppressing his presence, my beta, Sid and gamma, Rheo showed up. Among us only Rheo found his mate, Clara and they look good together. Sid ordered the little rogue to shift and Rheo handed her an oversized T-shirt. I was angry "How in the hell this rogue could enter this far inside the pack?" I demanded. Inspite of being best friends, Sid and Rheo still showed the respect a beta or gamma should give irrespective of any private relation we had. Their heads bowed down, Rheo answered first," This side of pack is underconstruction because of the last rogue attack, Alpha." "and you ordered more warriors on the north side thus this part lacks some protection." finished Sid. I made a mental note of changing the protection line told them to take the rogue or 'my dear mate' to the guest room. Both utterly confused tilt their heads. I blew a frustrated sigh, wiped my face with my hands and told them she is my mate. Fear was so evident on their faces I could simply read it. Sid showed courage to ask first, " Are you going to reject her?" I knew this would be coming. I myself was thinking the same but I won't let them see the confusion. "Yes I would surely reject her but firstly, I need to talk to Creek.  He is really excited to play with his mate and I need to make him understand we are not having this mate." 

                                I was on my way back to the pack house thinking of ways to change Creek's mind when I got someone's mind link. I gave permission and it was my twin brother, Leo. I have to say Leo is very ambitious and challenging, he challenged the alpha of infinite pack and fought for the alpha position. he is now the alpha of the infinite pack and the whole pack respects him. Just like me he also didn't get his mate till now but unlike me he wants his mate badly. "Still working on these abs, huh?" I teased him. we share a great bond after his succession to infinite pack we can rarely see each other.  I was just about to ask him about his pack when he growled "MINE!" His eyes pure black and his wolf had already taken over when he saw our little rogue. I sighed with great relief and confusion.
