Hello dear readers! Diana has done a big blunder. Will she just live with it or will she try to make up her mistake?

Max POV: on the breakfast table

Leo: Max, I know our parents aren't the best example of mate but I have seen the world more than you. I met this old wolf when I was headed for the battle for my territory. The old wolf was taking class of small kids. There was a video which had my attention.

You are more powerful than ordinary people in both strength and intelligence. You have special ability of hearing and smell. You have this immense power to protect the nature and other weaklings. You can only shift into your wolf form in the night so that my other children don't see that form of yours" Lady in headdress leaves.

Few years later, there is so much chaos in the world. Werewolves were trying to take over their creator, the moon goddess. They were killing each other mercilessly and were shifting in front of humans and killing them just for fun. Moon goddess is the mother of those merciless creature so she can't punish them, she has a tender heart. She decided to separate each individual. Seeing that you used your powers in wrong way I separate each of you into two individuals who will be called your soulmate. You will be powerful when you will find your mate but the power of love and the mate bond will help you from destroying this planet of mine. Video ends

Leo: I asked them about the reality and he told me that the video was just an animation for kids but mate bond is many times powerful and could make us really strong. The old man had experience and told he saw many fights which were won just because the alphas had their mate by their side. After that I met many alphas but the mated ones always had that calm and strong charm around them which was hard to wave off.

Max thinking: oh, I never knew mate could be so powerful. No body ever taught me what a mate is but just told me my other half. Do mates really make us feel alive? Because I have been dead for a long time. Maybe Leo is honest because I feel a sense if calmness around me when I am near Diana.

On the way to the meeting room

I wish she choose Leo, obviously my true feelings are that she should choose me after listening to Leo but I know I am not a good mate. I cannot take care of her like Leo can. It is nothing related to strength, it's about the love and passion she deserves. I don't want anyone to touch her or even eye her but I know I am not meant for her. In the morning when she was about to get hurt from the glass I was scared as hell. This was weird. Before this I was never scared for anyone but me and those were just rare moments. Seeing her with Leo just kills me and I want to hide her from everyone in this world. I want to preserve her. I know she is strong still I want to protect her from everything. Her beauty captivated me but her style and features just mesmerize me. I mean how can anyone be so beautiful.

We finally reach the meeting room and I am snapped out of my thoughts. I am miserably repeating her to choose me over my brother which is impossible but its better than losing all hope. I still don't want a mate but the bond just attracts me towards her so hard that I can't stop myself. I can't stop myself from wanting her. I put my hand on the small portion of her back to make her fell a little less nervous. She relaxes on the touch and it makes me fell a little better.
