You want to watch a horror movie

"Hobi-ah, hurry up! It's almost time to start!" you whined as you scuttled around the living room balancing two entire bowls filled to the brim with buttered popcorns before placing them carefully beside the coffee table which staggered under the weight of multiple snacks of black cat cookies, pretzels butter cups and mini pepperoni pizzas. 

Letting slip a series of mini- giggles, you found yourself being over the moon while you busied yourself with arranging the little platters of snacks on the table and occasionally skipping over and fluffing up the couch cushions. It was the very first night you were going to be watching an entire hair-raising horror movie with your boyfriend Hoseok and you didn't want to delay even for a moment and of course, everything needed to be just perfect.

"Baby, do we really have to watch this tonight?" As you fluffed the cushions, you rolled your eyes and giggled playfully as the slightly exasperated voice of your boyfriend which was wearing a pout echoed through the living room with those of his footsteps following soon after.

Turning around with a broad smile, you caught him standing by the doorway of the living room entrance wearing his ever so comfortable looking yellow and white pajamas complete with his feet snuggled into a pair of furry sunshine slippers. He had his arms crossed in front of his chest and his lips bore the most adorable pout ever, making you almost want to walk over and capture them in a loving kiss. Clutching a long blue blanket that trailed behind him on the floor, he gave a light glare yet it didn't intimidate you, it only made you love him more.

"Oh, come on, Hobi-ah." you wailed a little too dramatically at this. "It's just for one night and we've never watched a horror movie together before."

It had taken you quite a few weeks in order to convince Hoseok to join you in watching a horror movie. The first couple of times he had gently turned you down as anything that has monsters, blood or people getting killed always managed to get him weak in the knees and his stomach to churn. 

Therefore, he had tried multiple times to lead you away from the idea by offering to have a romantic movie night instead but your iconic stubbornness kept insisting on what you wanted the most from him. 

After so many weeks of hardwork that consisted of you giving him cheek kisses every single time you ran into him and constantly telling him of how romantic it actually is for a couple to enjoy a horror movie together, he had no choice but to reluctantly give into your wishes. Nevertheless, it apparently didn't mean that he was not willing to try his chances of asking you to change your mind at the last minute, no matter how impossible it seemed to be.

His once rigid face couldn't help but soften at seeing your pleads. "But love, you know that scary stuff aren't my thing." he gently tried to explain to you, his big innocent eyes touching your heart.

Closing your eyes, you sighed a heavy breath before opening them once more to gaze directly at his lovable self. "I know,"  you sighed before starting to slowly make your way towards him. Stopping directly in front of him, you leaned in close to him and placed your hands on his cotton clothed chest. 

"But baby," you continued with a sad smile. "We have never watched a horror movie together before... and I've always wanted to," you trailed off forming a slight pout as you subconsciously fiddled with the borders of his pajama collar. 

You heard him give out another sigh and felt him lightly clasp your hand which was holding his collar in his warm one making you look up at him. "But baby, we can always watch a cute romance movie or a funny comedy?" he tried to persuade you with hope glistening in his eyes yet you bit your lip and gave a small shake of the head. "No, we watch them all the time." you mumbled looking away melancholically before adding. "I want to watch something different...with you."
