~Overwhelming Power~

Chaos ensues...

Just when I was about to open the book and dust off dirt from the pages a alarm went off and the principal said in the speaker " A book has been stolen from the library all students please get out of the school while we search the dorms ASAP" I was caught.Well not completely caught but they found out about the book I looked out the window and saw one of those big rubbish dump bins under my window so in panic I dropped the book in the bin.

I really didn't mean too but just happened so I went with it and ran out of the building with my bag and stood outside with the rest of the school there wasn't many kids learning at this school since having powers really isn't that normal huh so there was only about 84 children learning at this school all about the same age as me.

While we all gathered together outside the school there were policemen outside and inside looking for the book or what I thought that they were looking for the book, a few minutes later the principal came outside and said "the item was not found but you all can go back in if you see anyone with the item or anything suspicious report to me ASAP the person who stole it will be in big trouble"

After that we all rushed back to out dorms when I got into mine everything was messed up and on the ground I called some of my friends I made and they said that their room was all messy too so we just ended up in needing to clean our dorms which was a pain, at this point I wish I hadn't taken the book from the library after an hour or two I was done the room was finally looking tidy again so I went outside to that dump bin from before and snuck the book out of the bin -even though it was on top of the rubbish so it wasn't really in the bin- while making sure that no one saw me after that I rushed back into my room and washed my hands imedeintly making sure that it was as clean as possible.

After washing my hands way to many times I finally sat down on the floor once again making sure that all the doors and windows were closed and if the were cameras that they would be covered I opened the book dusted of the bits of dust and dirt and saw something I never thought I would see anywhere else the...... family symbol....... "Wh-what?!" I fell back in shock "this....this can't be possible that never shows up anywhere what?!" As I sat there in shock, someone came knocking at my door.

I quickly shoved everything in a drawer and cleaned up.I rushed to the door, opened it and saw... Matt? "oh,Hi! Wh-what are you doing here Matt?" I said with a stutter "o-oh,sorry if i'm interrupting anything" He quietly said "oh no no! You're not interrupting anything, I'm just confused as to why you're here since school has already ended...." I quickly said "oh, well.... I-I just came to see if you wanted to go out and hangout with me and my friends!" he nervously said, "hm? Oh....." I stood there thinking "should I? I want to find out more of the book but...I could take a break" ''you know what...sure! I'd love to!" I cautiously said, "alright then! We were thinking of going to get ice-cream and then go to the beach" he said excitedly "Ooo that sounds fun!" I yelled quietly "mhm! Let's go then!" he said, grabbing my arm, "o-oh! I can walk y'know!" I quietly yelled annoyed.

When he stopped I was standing in front of 4 other people that seemed quite nice. Matt introduced me to them there was: Luna,Nasimi,Clyde and Zeke. They seemed like wonderful friends.They were all nice and including unlike my old friends they used to leave me out or leave me somewhere when I wasn't looking. Once Matt introduced me to them they ran straight up to me and hugged saying that they were happy to have a new friend,I was.... Flabbergasted "wh-what..."I thought with a rush of a safety feeling I giggled and hugged them back,I haven't had this feeling and connection with people in a long time and it felt just as wonderful as before.

As we were having our moment Matt just had to ruin it with a warm  " seems like you guys like each other already! But we should get going before it gets dark, how bout that?" he said kindly "o-oh r-right! Let's go guys, c'mon!" I yelled as I ran up to Matt. That evening was the best and I mean best evening I have had in wayyyy too long. We had the best time together. We hung out just like bestfriends would even though I just met them they are still just wonderful their like bestfriends to me already!

But you know at the end of the day you still gotta say goodbye so the four left, Matt took me to my dorm and we had a little talk just before he left "you know Matt.... Thank you thank you a lot.. I haven't had that much fun in so long and I'm very grateful for it..have a good night Matt and i'll see you tomorrow" I said in a soft tone "I-I No problem! My pleasure having you with us today was truly really fun" He said with a warm smile.
