~Overwhelming Power~

Investigation starts now..

"I didn't expect to be telling you now but it just happened since you already realized and you know way too much" my principal said in a calm-ish voice? "What do you mean? Continue please?" I said in confusion "well......look I know you took the book and I know where your friends are. You're a smart one and I knew it was true when they said you were different from the first time I met you" he stated in an unwelcoming tone

"wait what?!?! No no no you know what? Why did you do all that if you knew I took it?! And that still doesn't answer my question why everyone is acting so differently!" I commented in disbelief

"ok ok you seem like you need a break I'll give you one for the day go back to your dorm and just chill we'll talk tomorrow I'll send you an email about where to meet now shoo!" He said "wait what? You're really just gonna leave me like that?! Alright fine fine I'll go....".

I ran back to my dorm with a bunch of people staring at me. I don't even know why, they just stared at me as I ran through the halls, I didn't question it since my day was already really weird.I got back to my room and immediately sat on my bed there was nothing else to do but wonder. All confusion is all bunched up into one big messed up ball in my head and I can't think of anything but that.

I continued to sit there for quite a while, I'd say 30 minutes or so. I zoned out most of the time, it was all just too confusing for me so I just set it off and chilled for the rest of the day....... But one thing roamed my mind all day where did Matt and the others go? And plus lets go all the way back for a bit. Why the hell was my family symbol in the book???

I haven't been able to take a close look at that yet, I decided to look at it at night so that's what I did opened my light sat at my desk and all i did was read and look at details I didn't get far since that book was really big and I mean it.

When i woke up only one thing was in my mind "emails" I ran to check my emails on my laptop and right where it was the email from my principal, this was currently the only thing that was important to me find my friends and get to the end of this mystery. I opened the email to see a text saying, "Where are you and your friend's favorite place to go?" I immediately knew I needed to go to the beach.

I packed some stuff as in weapons Like tasers and knives just incase, my bag took some water food and my first aid kit etc..since you never know what could happen. Before I left I took the book, my phone and a portable charger. I sprinted to the beach. We were near the ocean just in a forest so it wasn't too far to get to but I still was in a hurry.

My mind was spinning like a broken carousel with thoughts "what if i dont get there in time?!" What if something happens while I'm running?!" "What's gonna happen when I get there?!" "IS THIS SAFE?!". I got rid of those thoughts and just focused on not falling and getting there in time. I made it to the beach sweating luckily i brought spare clothes, I looked around for a bit and finally spotted the principal at the end of the beach..
