XVIII and ending

Honestly, I am trying to write I really am and by that I mean I have no more motivation for this story or quite possibly Wattpad in general. I want to finish it because I know what it's like to not have a fanfic you like not being done. So I am going to TRY my best to finish it but probably not. I am so so sorry I know I keep saying I forget about time, which is true but also I don't have the motivation and I lost my drafts of the story with my old computer. So I am going off of a vague memory of what I wanted. 

So here we go, let's see what we can do today. After this, I am done writing this story unless I feel the need to. -Feb 2023

Emma had stayed awake throughout the night. She could only plan her next moves and hopefully yours, as she realized taking down the existing rulers of her country would be hard. Even though she is the Queen by law you have to have a hearing with evidence, that and the fact that they all knew the last queen was killed but her death certificate stating suicide was going to be a catch. They needed to learn more from others since Charlie was no longer alive. If anyone would say anything. 

Two things were on her list, find proof the queen was killed even though most of the world knows that she was, disband the council with a hearing that won't be biased, and the third thing that she wasn't going to add just yet, take her wife on a proper date and get away from all of this once this was all over. 

JULY 2023

This is all I had and I probably won't continue this story again. I wanted to but there has been way to much going on to properly think or even rework it. I didn't think this story would get this popular and I didn't think I would get this amount of some backlash from it? lol nothing bad I promise. 

So basically from what I remember this is how the story would have played out, there were only two or three more chapters after this:

The reader and Emma figure out who killed the Queen it was the Council as she wanted to disband the royal family and move forward with a democratic system but have the royal family be of aid, basically step back and let the people rule. The Council didn't want this as they would be disbanded and were greedy over land. 

I think I had a plot point about a fictional war I made up? 

The Mason family, the son who she may have possibly married with the contract isn't evil just rich jerks and they were worried about security.

The Count and Countess aren't evil either in fact they were apart of the organization that helped rescue Emma and Reader. 

Reader's cats are alive and well as well as the family. 

I think in one rough draft cause I changed who killed the Queen and why - I basically pulled a Clue on myself that she actually did kill herself and the Council was ashamed. 

In another rough draft the Council actually was good and started the rumors that the Queen had died tragically but she was executed because she was a dictator basically and the organization was a part of that. 

This whole fic was supposed to take place in the HOTEL ONLY as Reader and Emma were going to solve a murder while falling in love but I said fuck it cause they need to see the world. 

At one point I had Tyrell be a part of the Council and end up like hurting someone but I kinda liked him. 

There was no real "clear" ending of who did what but I can't bring myself to finish this anymore and I honestly would have to rewrite all of it. 

Also my intention for the Reader is that while she is meant to be you as an insert she was given a personally, hobbies, etc to also kinda be her own character at the same time. 

The contract with the Reader's family had a bigger purpose if I remember correctly it involved an actual marriage contract in case the ruler dies then the next heir will be married off to someone in Reader's family as they helped the royal family out during some sort of crisis idk it was there

I just wanted an arranged marriage trope so thats what happened. 

But the ending stayed the same which was that Emma and Reader fall in love and stayed married and start to decide if they want to rule their country or let it be a different party system and live their lives. 

The second ending was Emma and Reader decide not to rule and being a filmmaking acting couple and let a new council rule or something 

The third ending is that Reader was killed or leaves Emma due to all the trauma. 

But I lost interest and I'm sorry if anyone wants to make a new ending go for it. I don't know if I will come back to this anymore.
