Billy and Stu took off after Randy as he ran down the paved driveway towards the house. I climbed into the driver's seat of the car and started down the driveway after them. Shortly after Tatum followed. When we got to the house I got out of the car and went inside with the girls behind me. "We're not going to stop them?" Sidney asked. I made my way upstairs to get out of my wet clothes. "There is no stopping them, Sid," I said, pulling my shirt off.
I kicked my pants off my legs along with my panties and took the towel Tatum was holding out to me. I mumbled thanks and started to dry myself. "So did you get answers? And how the hell did he get into the house?" Tatum asked. "He knows where the spare is. And I did get some answers. I just don't know if I believe them." I pulled an oversized shirt over my head and pulled a pair of sweats on. "Well? What did he say?" Tatum asked. She and Sidney both borrowed some comfortable clothes and we all sat on the bed.
I started to explain to them what Randy had told me all the way up to when they showed up. "So he knew this chick from before?" I nodded my head. "Randy wouldn't cheat on you though," Sidney said. I shrugged, "we weren’t together so it wouldn't be cheating," I said. "Okay, but he would never hurt you, yn. He loves you." Tatum rolled her eyes, "he was chasing her in the pouring rain like some psychopath."
We heard the door close downstairs and stopped talking. We waited for one of the guys to call out but they didn't. Instead we heard the door slam shut like someone walked back outside. The three of us stood and walked to the top of the stairs. "Billy!" I called out. I slowly descended the stairs, Tatum right behind me. "Wait. What if it wasn't them?' Sidney asked. We looked back up at her. "Better than staying upstairs where there isn't anywhere to go," Tatum said. Sidney hesitated for a second before following us.
Once at the bottom I turned to the left and checked in the living room first. The door in front of the stairs that led out onto the deck was still locked. The den was wide open so there wasn't anywhere for someone to hide. We checked the kitchen and both doors were locked. So we looked down the stairs that led to the basement where the office was. "Are we going down there?" Tatum asked. "Maybe we should go out to the pool house," Sidney said.
We started to head down when we heard the door open that was at the bottom and ended up backing up. We headed into the kitchen and unlocked the patio door then headed out into the rain. We ran across to the pool house and quickly got inside and locked the door. The pool house had a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. It used to be just a plain old pool house when we were kids but then dad decided to turn it into more of a guest house. Billy had no problem moving out here.
We were looking out the window when we saw a tall figure in a black robe and that horrible ghostface mask standing by the pool. We ducked down and crawled towards the bedroom. Tatum locked the door behind us and we went to the side of the bed furthest from the door. We were huddled together trying to stay as quiet as possible. I pulled the phone off the nightstand and punched in Billy's number. I seemed to ring forever before he picked up. "Hello?" His voice was hushed and full of irritation.
"Billy, the killer is here. He's outside the pool house," I whispered. There was a few seconds of silence before he responded. "Where are you?" He asked. "In your bedroom. We thought he was in the house so we came out here," I told him. There was a bang from the front door and we jumped. "Billy, hurry please. He's right outside." Another loud bang. "We're coming. Just don't do anything fucking stupid!" The line went dead and I hung the phone up. The banging stopped and silence filled the room.
We watched the bedroom door with bated breath, holding on to each other. We screamed when the window near us was shattered by a brick flying through it. Then the killer was looking in at us. We screamed again, scrambling to get up and make a run towards the door. Sidney and Tatum made it to the door, unlocking it and swinging it open before taking off. As I ran towards the door, arms reached in through the shattered window and wrapped around my waist.
I let put a scream as I was pulled through the window and thrown on the ground. I turned onto my stomach and tried to crawl away only to be pulled and flipped onto my back. The heavy weight of the asshole pinned me down as he straddled my waist. His arms attended above his head, the knife gripped tightly in his hands. It made me think back to when me and Sidney were attacked at her house all those years ago.
In one fluid motion he brought the knife down and lodged it into my left shoulder. I cried out in pain and he lifted it back over his head and brought it back down hitting just below my collarbone. I gasped at the pain that shot through my chest. Just as he was about to bring it down again someone tackled him off of me with a loud roar. I cried, rolling over onto my side, my right hand coming up to uselessly press against the wounds to try and stop the bleeding.
I watched as the killer ran off and disappeared. I turned back over onto my back and winced at the pain. "Baby, hey, hey, you're okay." I cried when Randy picked me up off the ground. "What the fuck did you to her!" I heard someone scream. Then I was being pulled from his arms into someone else's. "Me? I didn't do anything! I saved her fucking life!" Randy screamed back at Billy. "Billy, man, we should get her to the hospital." I gripped Stu's rain soaked shirt, feeling myself drifting. "Billy!" Stu yelled. That was the last thing I heard before everything went black.
