The sun had set, allowing it's reflection on the moon to beam onto the tablet.
Octavius gained consciousness from being a normal miniature and stepped out of his diorama to see Jedediah out of his, but he was pacing back and forth. Octavius walked up to him when he wasn't watching.
"So, did you ever figure out what happened?" Octavius asked as he walked next to Jed. Jedediah turned around quickly. "Oh, hey, Ockie! I- uh... yeah, sort of..." Jedediah murmured hesitantly, "I talked to Gigantor about it, he said, uh, he said that it just happens sometimes." "Hm. Alright, then." Octavius muttered. He knew this was a lie, but what would he need to cover up? Jedediah then quickly started walking away from Octavius without any word.
Octavius started walking to the direction of the elevator. He asked one of the exhibits to come with him so he could save himself from all the struggle for his size. He got off at the second floor, and started walking to Ahkemrah's exhibit, where he saw Ahk and Atilla talking. "My liege, may I talk to you about something?" Octavius asked Ahkmenrah. Ahkmenrah looked down at his troubled little friend. "Sure, what seems to be troubling you?" He asked. Attila cupped his hand to the ground. Octavius got up onto it, as Attila lifted his hand. Ahk and Attila sat down on the outer case protecting the sarcophagus.
"I need to get something off of my chest." Octavius said anxiously. "...And that is?" Ahkmenrah asked "I seemed to have gained a crush." Octavius slowly muttered.
"...This isn't a confession to me, is it?" Ahk asked.
"Oh, no!" Octavius said, "Though, the person I've gained a crush on is male, and I hope that he had evolved from his timeline's thoughts."
"...Laa?" Attila asked
"What?! No, not Laa! Where did you get THAT from?!" Octavius exclaimed. Attila responded with "evolved" in hun
"Columbus?" Ahk asked
"IT'S JEDEDIAH FOR JUPITER'S SAKE. THERE. I said it."
"oh," Attila muttered. He then asked "what were his time's thoughts?" in hun.
"Well, a lot of them did not appreciate same-sex relationships, while some others were okay with it, but only for the sex." Octavius answered. "But why only for sex? no romantic relationships?" Ahkmenrah asked. "I'm not sure. It's quite strange how it worked." Octavius muttered as he tried to think about it.
"Anyway, I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to do nothing and wait until this crush goes away. I mean, it's not going to go away, that's one of the reasons why. I have no clue what to do! It's a good thing I'm upper-class, because if I weren't, then I couldn't even try to do anything and I'd be set up with some girl I don't even like at all! My liege, I want to take advantage of the power I have. I need help with this crush I have."
Ahkmenrah looked at Attila, then back at Octavius.
"Well, there's only two options: confess, or hide it." Ahkmenrah said. Attila gave him a look and looked back at Ahkmenrah. "...I thought that would be more helpful." Octavius said awkwardly, "Well, thank you anyway." Ahkmenrah sighed and Attila got up with Octavius still in his palm and walked him back to the Rome diorama. Octavius got off of his hand. He had a lot of things to think about.
