~Time Skip to Christmas Day~
I hopped out of the TARDIS and into the icy winter air of London. I smiled. It felt like an eternity since I had been at this house. The Doctor put his arm around me and I leaned my head onto his shoulder. I skipped up the front stairs and rang the doorbell.
My mother swung open the door and embraced me in her loving arms.
"Oh my goodness," she gasped looking me in the eyes, "where have you been? No matter," she finished, pulling me inside. She looked over her shoulder and said to the Doctor and Allison, "Come in, come in!"
"Dinner is almost ready," my mother called from the kitchen, "you can go ahead and sit at the table."
"Uh... Nice house." Allison awkwardly stated, trying to break the silence.
"Thanks." I said, folding my hands on the table.
My mother placed the steaming turkey in the center of the table. She then passed a bottle of red wine to Allison, who filled her glass to the brim. She then passed the bottle to me and I poured some wine into mine.
Our conversation was innocent and Allison lied about things such as what her job was -she said a model- and how much she gets paid.
Suddenly, my mother asked the one question I had hoped she wouldn't.
"So why aren't you spending Christmas with your family?"
Allison's eyes pooled with tears.
I reached over to touch her, but she pushed away from the table and ran out of the front door.
