𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗷𝗶 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼, during the morning Baji made sure his little sister got to school alright, and he even walked her to every class she had just to make sure that she was okay and safe from harm's way, he had never walked her to class before he usually just dropped her off at the entrance, but the darkening bruise on her cheek was setting him on edge.
Baji just had to sit through the whole day fidgeting and itching to get his hands on the freaks who harmed his sister, running through his head was how he was gonna fuck them up later. y/n had always been very dear to Baji although he never really let it show, no matter how he hid it y/n knew how dearly he cared for her. It was killing him that he couldn't just go and fuck them up now and that he had to wait.
Finally, when school was out, Baji went over to Chifuyus to eat dinner, the two didn't talk, they were both just on edge about the same girl, although neither of them realized it yet. When they had wasted enough time just sitting in silence the two hopped on their bikes and went to the Toman meeting, arriving just on time. And although Baji tuned out most of it he could tell that Mikey was upset that Moebius had hurt so many innocent people that were loved ones to his precious Toman members. All of Toman rallied together after Mikey's monologue and soon they made their way over to the parking lot where the fight would go down, the absence of Mikey's number two not going unnoticed at all.
By the time Mikey managed to have Toman organized enough to get everyone there together Draken was already a little beat up and it seemed he was facing a horde of riled-up Moebius members. When Baji caught sight of their hideous uniforms he wasted no time in waiting for Mikey's approval, he rushed in and started beating the shit out of some of the Moebius guys, he was shouting questions at them trying to get them to identify the men who hurt his sister. Of course, none of them had a scooby about what Baji was yelling about but no one from Moebius was able to lay a single finger on Baji at that time, no matter how many dirty tricks they tried to pull off. It's like Baji was fueled by pure hate and hate alone.
On the other side of the parking lot, Chifuyu had already spotted the guys, thanks to y/n's vague description, and he was rushing towards them fists clenched and eyes overcast, ready to pummel them into the ground. Throwing fist after fist at them Chifufyu had easily managed to get the main guy down on the ground and he was sitting on top of him just going to town on his face. In a blind rage, Chifuyu hadn't noticed that he was rapidly being surrounded and he was yanked from his paroxysm of anger by someone clobbering him over the head and then standing over him, thrusting his foot into Chifuyu's side.
"Baji! They're over here!" Chifuyu managed to scream out above all the noise the two gangs were making and Baji immediately halted and turned tails to run toward where Chifuyu had called out to him from. When he got to Chifuyu his fury somehow bred within him after seeing how the gorillas were beating Chifuyu up, they had him curled into a ball and they were practically jumping on his twitchy body.
Baji immediately threw himself at them taking them all on at once, some of the goons smirked but those cocky grins quickly faded as soon as the thugs saw how Baji was able to batter multiple of them at once. But Baji wasn't so inviolable this time around. When he was finished deforming their faces he went over to Chifuyu to boast about how he had beaten so many up at once, but he realized that Chifuyu lay unconscious.
Both Moebius and Toman started to scatter at the sounds of sirens, Baji slung Chifuyu over his shoulder and sped out of there back home, he knew that if he took him to the hospital he was likely to be arrested for battery, but the thought of that made him smirk, remembering the warped faces of his sister's attackers.
Baji soon burst through the door of his home and dropped Chifuyu down on the sofa.
"y/n! Get the fucking first aid kit!" Baji screamed loud enough that even if she was peacefully sleeping it would have awoken her.
y/n groaned and out down one of Chifuyu's mangas that she was reading and made her way into the main living space of their apartment, med kit in hand. But when y/n saw Chifuyu lying on the couch kindred to being dead, her face paled, she dropped the kit, and her eyes filled with tears.
"y/n?" Baji peaked his head out of the kitchen and saw his sister's horrified face, his stomach dropped, 'is it too much gore for her? Is she scared? Am I scaring her?'
"Ch-ifuyu?..." y/n's voice was shaky and broken and when Baji heard that all the pieces of the puzzle snapped together and his naked heart was flooded with emotions. First, confusion. 'How did his darling little sister know his best friend? Am I missing something? Oh!' Second, anger. 'Was this the girl Chifuyu got so angry over? How dare he harbour feelings for his little sister?!'
Lastly, relief. 'Wait, y/n has another person in her life who's willing to get this hurt for her? Thank god for its Chifuyu. I trust Chifuyu. Chifuyu? Oh shit!'
"y/n you can cry about it later! Just get him patched up already." Baji broke y/n's trance and she picked up the first aid kit and got to work. She worked from his midsection up, getting the help of Baji to remove Chifuyu's shirt. Normally, she'd be flustered at the sight of him shirtless but right now, she was too worried to care about his abs.
She checks out his wounds and wraps a tight bandage around his ribcage and upwards, setting any ribs that might be bruised or broken in place to be checked out later when he awoke. She then moves onto his beaten-up face, and when she saw what they had done to his otherwise flawless skin she felt an unfamiliar enmity bubble up from within her, but she stayed calm and treated his wounds.
