Isabella's pov
I smile and say "try to catch me Kat" she laughs "you know you're no match for me Isa" I shrug "humor me" to my vampire best friend. She chuckles "20 seconds" I nod and start running and she catches me. "You're the greatest companion I've ever had Isa. You don't judge me for anything. Hell you didn't even freak out and I didn't need to compel you or your friendship" I know where it's going "Kat..." "why won't you let me turn you?" She asks me upset. "I don't want to live forever Kat. I want to have children, get married, live a life I'm happy with and die. There's no place for me in immortality Kat" I explain my wishes again. "Your place is with me Isa. You're the sister I never had" she says. I take her hand "and you're mine as well. Promise me you won't turn me Kat." She sighs "promise"

I wheeze "kat"

Elijah's pov
I haven't left her side. Stefan isn't happy at all about it. But ultimately agreed. But his precious doppelgänger has to live. I've made no promises but Damon did. She coughs blood and I wipe it from her lips. She cries "it hurts" todays the moon. Klaus should be here soon. I stroke her hair "I know my love. Just a bit longer"

She ends up in a daze and attacks me. She bites my neck and I hiss and push her off not wanting to harm her truly. She snaps out of it and backs away "I-I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean to" and sniffles. I pull her to me "it's okay. I'm okay. Let me get you some blood okay?" Setting her back in bed. I speed out of the room for a bloodbag and speed back in hearing sizzling. She's standing in the sun. I move her out of the way and she cries "MAKE IT STOP! PLEASE" thrashing. Seeing her like this hurts. Truly. I call klaus "yes lijah" "she's getting worse nik. I...I don't think she plans on making it til the moon is at its fullest"  he replies "make her. She's just gotta make it a few hours lijah"

I sigh "we can only hope her body can take a few more hours" hanging up. I hold her as she thrashes and damon comes in and vervains her making her fall asleep. I glare "I had it handled! Now she's gonna be trapped in whatever memory she has!" "Well atleast she's not trying to fry herself elijah" he snaps. I say "make sure everything's set for klaus to get here. I'll take care of her" he says "as soon as she gets worse call me. I'm not missing her dying" "she's not dying. Not today or tomorrow. She's going to live to be 1000 years old or more. You have my word" I tell him and he leaves
