I was late waking up so I didn't have much time to get ready. First we had breakfast from the hotel itself since it was free. It was puri and something like sambar and I didn't like it. I think it will take me a day or two to get used to the food here. Then after talking our stuff, pappa made a call to the cab driver to make sure our he was ready. He said he forgot about it and we had to wait another hour for him. We were first headed to Hava Mahal. It's a big palace like building. We had cold coffee and brownie while admiring the place. The building was filled with tiny doors and there were many traditional things and music there. It was so cold there and by noon we left to have lunch. I had hot n sour soup and lime soda and next we were headed to Jal Mahal. It was a white Palace situated on a lake and to just get there costed so much so we didn't go. Instead we roamed around the night street which was near there. The streets were filled with small businesses and we had Gulab Jamun while walking. We saw a small girl doing circus and I almost cried seeing her. Her feet were covered in wounds as she was walking on the hard rope under the sun. The businesses were of traditional clothes, small statues, foods, portraits etc. After spending an hour there while going to the national museum, we saw Amber fort. It was a really huge fort and the walls looked like the great wall of china. It was massive and the view was more than I could express in words. The queue was lengthier than the great wall of china, so we didn't get in. By the time we reached National Museum, it was already closed. It was so cold outside and I was having a terrible stomach ache, so we rushed back to the hotel. There was campfire there so we decided to chill there after eating. So we again went out in the cold streets of Rajasthan to have dinner. I had Nan and paneer then rushed back to the hotel while the rest of the family went to the campfire. I stayed in the room reading a book tucked under a blanket with the heater turned on. We will be leaving to Chittaurgarh tomorrow at morning. After seeing Chittaurgarh we will leave to Udaipur.
