Today also I was late but I had a quick shower and we headed to eat breakfast at the hotel itself. I had Poha, Pakkoda, sauce and coffee. After breakfast we packed up our stuff and headed to Chittaurgarh. I got to see many kinds of things there by staring out of the windows. Our cab driver put on music so me and Malu (my sister) were vibing for the whole trip. After reaching Chittaurgarh we got on a nearby restaurant to have lunch. I had veg fried rice and thumbs up. Next we were headed to the Chittoor Fort. There we met with a guide and he took us to a store. The employers there showed us many clothes made from banana leaves, custard apple etc. However, it was so costly so we didn't buy anything. First we went to Rana Kumbar palace. It was a huge building but it was so broken. The guide said it was attacked and got knocked down by some King. The guide was saying so many things to amma(mother) and pappa and even though I was curious, I didn't pay attention since I didn't understand Hindi. Later we went to Kumbaswami temple. It was a huge building and the carvings made out of stone were magnificent. The view there was amazing and we took many photos there. I was tracing my fingers through the carvings admiring the masterpiece while Malu was blabbering to take aesthetic photos. Our next destination was Meera temple. It was smaller compared to that of Kumbaswami temple but the two almost had the same structure. It is said that in that temple Meera Bhai was poisoned. I was mostly enjoying the view and taking pictures. Then while on our way to the victory tower, while our cab driver was going to park the car, its front tire got into a small pit and while he was setting up everything to take it out, a local from there came and helped us. The people here are very helpful and friendly. Then after settling. everything there we went to the victory tower which is also known as Vijay Stambh or Jai Stambh. It was a tall building with nine floors and the carvings out of stone amazed me. The view was amazing and most of the time I was staring at the top of the building. The victory tower was built by Rana Kumba spending ninety lakhs. It has one hundred and fifty seven steps and it is one hundred and twenty two ft tall. It took ten years to build it and it looked breathtaking. We next went to Johar Palace. It was also similar to the buildings we earlier saw but this place had more space and it kind of looked like a park. It is said that here, Rani Patmanabhi created a fire pit and suicided along with one thousand six hundred ladies as she didn't want to marry a king. I was standing at the same place one thousand and six hundred ladies. There were many monkeys there and the cold breeze was sending chiIls down my spine. Even though next we were planning to go to Padmini's palace, because of the cold and there was nothing special to see, we didn't drop by and continued moving. While we were getting outside the fort, there was a huge crowd and we decided to check it out. My eyes almost popped out of their sockets when I saw the view. We were standing above some tall hills and we could see the whole city while just standing there. I didn't get too close to the end as I was scared of the height. Pappa and Malu took many pics and I was busy admiring the place and the two baby pigs there. Unfortunately, or kind of relieved at that time, we got back inside the car after spending ten minutes there. The trip to Udaypur was chill and every one fell asleep and I was staring at the driver's phone. After some chill hours we reached hotel Kajiri and after dropping our luggages at the room we went to eat. I had chapatti and veg kurme. I almost didn't eat the whole thing as I was too tired to even keep my eyes open. After returning to the room, I did nothing other than getting into the bed and dozing off. Tomorrow we will be leaving to see Udaipur.
