黒 (/kuro/) - means "black". Most commonly found in the adjective 黒い /kuroi/; probably an association to Kuroo's hair.
陰翳 (/Ine'i/) - means "shade" or "darkness".

"Kurro Inei, Shadow Hashira!"

Kurro Ine'i is Hashira from manga named "Demon Slayer: The New Era". He wasn't anyone's tsuguko and he just happened to create his own breathing. Why shadow breathing? We will find out soon.

"... it is non of your business to know anything about me. All you need to do is listen to my commands for this mission. Understood?..."

After Kurro parents left him and his sister, they stayed at their grandmother's/grandma's place when they were really young. At that time Kurro was 12 and his sister 6 years old. Their grandma/grandmother watched over them and raised them right. When Kurro turned 21 he became a Hashira. He would often visit his grandma/grandmother & his sister. He always saw them as his light that shines brightly in his dark world.

"My grandmother...my sister... they are my light. I was always stuck in this dark world, in dark thoughts. Stuck in my own shadow and never saw hope in anything. But they... they were only thing that showed me hope actually existed, I fought for them, I fought for my sister. If something were to happen to them... I would come back to the darkness and my shadows... alone... forever."

As we can see... Kurro became Hashira/demon slayer for his sister and grandmother/grandma who meant everything to him, even tho his parents left him and his sister. He saw hope in life because of them. He always saw himself as someone invisible to this world and to people's eye's, he never really cared what will happen to him. His own "shadow" took over his life and mind... his life was darkness but only shined when his loved ones showed up.

"... sir why did you became a demon slayer?
-I said it is none of your damn business brat. >_>
-Yes sir!.."

BREATHING STYLE AND FORMS

Shadow breathing has 6 forms and they are:

1. Form - speed of dark raven

2. Form - Shadow Clones

3 Form - Black Phoneix

4.. Form - Black hole

5. Form - Power of yin

6. Form - power of yang

Let's take a better look on these forms:

1. SPEED OF DARK RAVEN

The user gains great speed and has clear view of target. This form works easy on lower ranked demons, and the non ranked (weaker) demons. Beside speed and clear veiw, User can jump really high with no struggle.

2. SHADOW CLONES

The user creates shadow clones from shadows around, and unleashes multiple attack from every side where clones come from. Unfortunately the clones only last for 5 min maximum and are afraid of light.

3. BLACK PHONEIX

Shadow of User's raven becomes alive black phoneix that follows User's sword movements and attacks the opponent with great speed. The phoneix is invisible to the opponent. This forms can cause a lot of damage to the opponent but can also make the raven tired since the shadow is connected to the raven and uses it's energy.

4. BLACK HOLE

The surrounding becomes very dark to the point opponent can't see anything. The user than can move in darkness not being seen and attack from anywhere they want. Even attacked opponent still can't see. (Example owl attacks during night in silence)

5. POWER OF YIN

User's sword (blade) becomes black and gains great strength & speed. When user attacks the opponent the attack become very rough and painful for the opponent. However after using this form User's energy is low.

6. POWER OF YANG

User's sword (blade) becomes white. When user attacks the opponent the attack become very soft and pleasurable to the opponent. However this form requests full energy to be used... which means user might not be able to fight after using this form until they regain the strength/energy... which might take couple hours.
Kurro barely uses this form since it is the strongest but it definitely works on the upper moons. Also it slows the regeneration speed for the demon, unless the user went for the neck and the chances of slicing it off is very high.
