The main character is Ami Schultz, an innocent and relatively frail girl. When primarily following her, the story will contain normal font. When following any other character, for example the other main character: Alison, the Rose Reaper, the story will be printed in italics. This is to help determine whose mind is mostly being portrayed at the time. During italics, the perspective will switch from third person omnipotent to first person central.
