Divya pov:

He ran faster so i increased pace i was just about to get hold of him but thanks to my clumsiness God knows how i managed to slip on the flat surface im running on ahhhh...
And I WOKE UP
my mom came running inside our room while my sweet little sister didn't even bother to look at me i guess i know why
Mom: why are you shouting Meera?
Meera: not agai....( Earning a glare from me and a stare from mom)...n
Me: Maa a thief stole my momos
Maa: No wonder your laziness left you for a second for you to shout breaking your law of "peaceful mornings"

from the corner of my eyes i see Meera laughing

Mom left the room

Me: What? You don't even fold your bedsheet now stop laughing
Meera:that's my preference not laziness 🤷‍♀️ Also its been days since you're having the same dream
Me: Nope
Sunday it's chicken fried momos
Monday it's veg steamed momos
Tuesday it's veg fried momos
Wednesday it's chicken steamed momos
Thrusd ........shit!!! i have meeting and I'm late
I somehow managed to throw myself out of my 1st love(my bed) temporarily and was running to freshen up i heard Meera saying
Hurry you need to drop me at my friend's
she will be leaving for college she has her ticket booked for today night though it's nothing new i still am not used to it we had a good talk yesterday while packing her luggage I'm gonna miss her lots
Me:Okaaaaaay...
I quickly did my routine, dropped Meera and reached office i saw my friends/collegues outside the building probably waiting for me
Meet another foodie - Maahi Gupta
And my secret bf - Aarav Arora yeah you heard it right secret boy - friend ( guy friend) this secret is only kept from my father though
I went and hugged them slightly
I heard some hoots in the background proving that people don't mind their own business half of the office thinks i and aarav are dating and the other half believes it on contrary that stupid guy is crazily in love with maahi but we don't know what's running on maahi's mind
We entered the building
Maahi is walking in the front
I whispered to aarav:
Me:Don't you think you should confess before she too start doubting us
Aarav: why should only guys propose first i want our love story to be special he said dreamily

I smiled sarcastically
Me: Yeah yeah remember she went on a date yesterday and it's not with YOU?
He scowled
Aarav: why must you have to rub it on my face
I laughed hard
He sighed and said the same answer i have been hearing for months now
Aarav:"I don't know how she'll react
What if she rejects?"
We reached our floor and headed to the meeting room to see not only the most sadistic but also the most creepiest boss one can ever have thankfully the meeting ended on a good note , so we didn't face his wrath we dispersed and started doing our own tasks
In lunch,At canteen:
I chirped How about we eat momos at our favourite stall I've been dreaming about them since forever
Maahi: what got into you?last time your dad ha...
I interrupted
meera called me Dad is out of town for the whole 2weeks so our party of being done with 3years long articles is also on
we hooted
Aarav:that's cool.lets celebrate on next Sunday
Maahi and i agreed instantly
After a little chit chat

So how was your date?i asked
As soon as this question is out of my mouth maahi who was drinking water started coughing vigorously and aarav glared at me
He handed some tissues to maahi
Maahi:That stupid dumb idiotic person ...
she started whisper cursing
Aarav:Woh woh woh calm down
Meera:he asked me for a date but when i went in i saw him kissing his ex
i saw aarav loosing his calm now
Meera:when i questioned him all he said was
Mimicking"i just wanted to make her jealous so she'll come back to me"
So i slapped him and said
"I just wanted my hand print on your face" saying this she shrugged nonchantically
I saw aarav smirking he's literally smitten by her
I was furious
YOU SHOULD HAVE PUNCHED AN...
I stopped screaming once i saw our table gaining attention
"..and kicked him too" I whispered
M: yeah i should have next time i see him he's dead
Then we spoke about usual stuff
In the evening:
As we exit the momo palace aarav went to parking lot to get the bike.suddenly Meera pointed her finger at a direction and said he's the guy from yesterday and when i saw where she was pointing i was disgusted since he's hugging another girl i know since maahi gave the details of his ex the girl he's holding now is nothing near to a witch wearing 6 inch heals with long nails and blood red lipstick with an arrogant attitude as maahi described.she looks simple and sweet so obviously he's with another girl next minute i found myself punching his face
He groaned in pain and the girl closed her mouth with her hands and her eyes turned to the size of sausers shocked by my move
In a second i was pulled away by maahi she whisper yelled at me
Maahi: "you heheee😅got the wrong guy "
Me:WHATTTTTT!!??
I slowly moved my head towards the guy i just punched and smiled nervously while he's shooting daggers through his eyes
"WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ?HOW DARE YOU PUNCH ME?"
